Outdoor ceiling fans
I love these. They are nice looking and silent. They circulate air well. The light and dark colors allow for flexibility w/ furniture decor etc. They don't look like wood if that's what you're going for BUT they are weather resistant a we've had a ton of rain and wind. I love them!

The fans are attractive and functional.
We ordered 4 fans and one was delivered later than the first 3. Having already installed the first 3 fans, it was clear that the 4th fan was not of the same quality as the other 3 even though they were supposed to be the same. Aside from that, we are satisfied with the fans. They are attractive, the light is bright, the fans are quiet, and the remote control function is a plus, as is the timer.

globe $70?
would never order this again or suggest a friend order this. I would not have purchased had I known the replacement parts were priced so high. I could not get a replacement globe at any other store that could be used so I was charged $70 for a replacement globe that had black marks all over the rim as if it was used. This light kit, I bet ,is not replaceable except through the company. What would that cost? I'm afraid to ask. Other globe replacements are around $15. Do not purchase this fan unless you don't mind being taken for replacement parts. All the features work but nothing special that other fans can't provide.

What you get is different
The advertised picture is totally deceiving and not what you will actually get. The fan blades are all a bright, mustard yellow and flimsy. The overall appearance of the fan looks cheap. The instructions it came with had a picture of a totally different fan with a cartoon whale on each page in the lower right hand corner. Don't waste your $$. Upside, the fan is quiet and fairly easy to install.

Cheap remote
I don’t like the fact you’re relying on a cheap remote to get the full function of both light and fan. If the remote stops working, you’re kind of out of luck. Even if you wired it so you can turn it on with a switch, you’d need two switches but you couldnt adjust the speed of the fan or adjust the light setting. The blades looked like cheap plastic too.
