Seems to work as advertised
the unit seems to work as advertised. the documentation leaves a bit to be desired, however. some of the features described are confusing to finger out.

Great Barcode Scanner for Mac
I've used this barcode scanner for about a year at my little candy shop. It has held up very well after being dropped and beaten around pretty good. If you use a Mac with the Checkout POS system, this scanner should do fine.

Will not read all barcodes stickers depending on color of background
This scanner has a problem scanning any barcode that is on a dark background. Seems to have no major issues with codes on white or light colored backgrounds but has a major no reading issue on anything with black or dark colored backgrounds.

Works, but too expensive for it's usefulness. Cord ties you to a computer, activation key is a hassle, and software is not very good. Look elsewhere first.
