The epilator is surprisingly good for large areas, i.e., cheeks, jawline, under chin/ jaw bone and neck. I do NOT use it on my eyebrow area; it is too large for that area. It is not as thorough as waxing but excellent for maintenance. Best advantage - no prep required. If I see a few hairs after washing my face, I use it. Best to use it after face washing and before moisturizing for a better grip. Slide coils against hair growth collects more hair in coils.I purchased 2 other epilators at the same time - both in the $25-$30 dollar range. I would choose this coiled-spring tool over the others.
