This has transformed my patio from alright to amazing. I purchased two, one per side of my patio. I have an alright view in a decent community, but before I had these screens it felt like my patio was everyone's business. Now it is my own little world of peaceful outdoors. I have had them up for a few days, attached at the top and along the two sides so that I can scrunch them up when I want the full sun on my patio. Despite being light in color they really do filter full sun into shade/low light. My full sun plants will not thrive with these down all the time so scrunching seemed like a good option. Shipping was fast, arrived in two days folded neatly without excess packaging. They sent black zip ties to attach them with, easily an extra 5 per panel (even if I had used one in every grommet). The black edging blends perfectly with my railings, and these look really classy and nice. You cannot see through them. At best I can see vague shapes if it is very bright on the other side. The only way I think people on the outside could see through would be if I was heavily backlit, and then it would only be shadows. I will update if for some reason these don't last a very long time, but I doubt I will need to. 10/10 would purchase again!

The color of this windscreen is closer to golden yellow than beige. With my balcony facing west, I'm using it primarily as a sun screen in combination with two roller shades to tamp down the scorching Texas heat during the summer. It's a shame to waste evenings outside on the balcony because it's too hot. My fingers are crossed that this will make it more bearable. I had to add more grommets in order to make fit the smaller spaces.

I bought this in a custom size 35" X 11'. The company was easy to deal with and order arrived quickly. The ties provided weren't strong enough or long enough so I used velcro ties I had for wrap electric cords. I love the screen. It provides enough privacy to make me feel I can't be watched by passersby when on my street-facing apartment patio. I'm handicapped and could not complete tying down all the grommets in one fell swoop; attached photo shows the screen only partially tied in place but I'm very happy with the product. Light weight and does the job adequately.

This is actually the 2nd Privacy Screen we've ordered because we were so please with our last purchase of this item. We needed this privacy screen for our 2nd floor porch. The screen arrived within the time the seller stated it would arrive. It was easy to put up and does exactly what it says looks great and allows us some privacy when we are sitting on our porch in the morning. I put it up too low initially and it was easy to remove and reposition it. It comes with plenty of extra zip ties to secure the screen in place. The quality has held up to the heat/sun and wind we get here in the bay. I was a little concerned with how it would look once it was up because our HOA is particular with us adding anything to the outside of our house, but the beige blends in well with our railing. We pressure washed our porch and this screen and it cleaned up great and didn't get ruined while pressure washing (my husband used a different nozzle so it wouldn't be such high pressure as it was for the cement on the porch.) I love sitting outside on our porch in the morning to drink coffee and not having to worry about being in my Pjs' because no one can see us.

For what it is, and the price you pay, it truly is an outstanding value. I have a 19' long patio that faces a busy street. I purchased the 35" x 20' and used a combination of zip ties and screws with washers to hold it in place. I'm really glad I ordered an extra foot, as it allowed me a little leeway when finding the best grommets to mount the screen. For those of you that have a traditional rail style balcony, you won't have an issue as you can see from the pictures from the other reviews.The overall screen material is similar to a tarp, with the black edges are more of a reinforced and stitched edge of the same material. Of course, what is most important is privacy. After installing the screen I went down to the street level and tried to look inside through my balcony. You couldn't see anything, and it reassured me that my patio would remain private! I get 2 to 3 years out of it, I would consider getting my moneys worth. Now only the sun and time will tell…

I live in an apartment in a semi-urban area and was looking for more privacy for my small outdoor balcony. The view down below is an older apartment building and a parking lot and neither look very pleasant. I'm really happy I came across this privacy screen - it's exactly what I was looking for and it matches the building colors enough to where it doesn't stand out from the street level. It adds additional privacy both outdoors and indoors, which I place a high value on. If I did it over I would have ordered a screen that was a foot longer as my measurements weren't a perfect fit to wrap around the entire railing but it still works very well and I have other things covering that spot.

Great product, just what I needed for a little privacy on my apartment patio. Now I can keep the blinds open without worrying about people on the street being able to peer inside. The color of the material matches the stucco of the building and with the black trim and metal rivet holes it looks very clean and professional. If you have to cut it to make it fit your dimensions you can take a lighter to the cut end and it'll keep it from fraying, kind of like what you do with a nylon rope.
