For a couple of years, I've brought a new 500-1000 piece rectangular jigsaw puzzle to a big old rustic cabin in Maine for a group of friends week away, so this one appealed as a novel, thematically-appropriate diversion.Cons*flimsy construction - pieces with laminate fraying and not well cut between tabs and slots so it was very easy to mix up "matches" between similar pieces*lots of puzzle dust*low resolution image - most of the overall puzzle is streaky blue grays and tans, splotchy browns, and muddy blacks that were difficult enough to place without the low image contrast and clarity besides*many small, curved, and tapered edge pieces that don't interlock, so it's more difficult to anchor the emerging puzzle in place by completing the edges first, just poor overall designI hoped the unique outline would prove a fun challenge, but the poor quality cardboard, cut of the pieces, and color rendering of the image made this a frustrating, unfinished experience instead.

Great puzzle for kids or adults to put together. My grandchildren and I had fun and even though it's only 100 pieces, the shape of the pieces make it take a little longer than I had expected. We've mounted it on my grandson's bedroom wall. :)

The box was perfect but several pieces were bent or defective. My daughter has the red panda one as well and told me the Sam thing happened with that one too. Disappointing since they are super cute. I ordered two more (before I knew of the poor quality) but I am hoping they are in better shape.

A great gift for jigsaw puzzle lovers. A new challenge from the traditional square or rectangle shapes.I bought two of these for Christmas gifts and both recipients seemed to be very pleased with them.

A lot of the pieces fit where they shouldn’t, you really have to pay close attention to the shades of color and pattern to make sure you have it right. But it looks really cool when it’s done.

I liked that this puzzle was not the ordinary square shape. It was a little challenging but worth the time.

I love puzzles and always buy Springbox puzzles because they guarantee no two pieces are alike. This puzzle had small pieces that could fit in multiple areas and with the body made it more difficult. However, in the horn the pieces actually fit together and had a significant color change from one piece to another leading me to believe they weren’t correct. Pulled apart the area a few times thinking it was my error but no there must have been an imperfection in the printing. Beautiful picture just a bit disappointed in the quality.
