*****5- Scorching Hott- Stars*****
*****5- Scorching Hott- Stars*****~this review contains minor spoilers~“The goal in Tantra is to unit different areas into one as we, I mean, couples make love. The aim is to open our minds and spiritual side while having sex combining the two. The key word is open. Freeing oneself.”Well.... damn that was hott. Seriously sexy as hell, but not that in your face kind of sexy- more sensuous and truly erotic. I loved that it was told from the man's POV, the way his thoughts and feeling morphed throughout the course of the book was fascinating. It was really quite an experience, sure to land Liv Morris on my favorites list for a long long time.Karma. I have to laugh. I, of all people, know too well about karma and it's legend. However, I've chosen to operate under the old proverb of an eye for an eye. Karma requires no action and the hope of a chance. I rely on one thing in this world: my actions. I will leave nothing to chance and prefer playing the game of life with the strongest hand possible.Adam Kingsley has worked hard to get where he is today- a self made billionaire with New York at his feet. Nobody knows about the demons of his past resulting from his mothers death or his well known father who has never acknowledged his existence. All they see is money and power with a trail of discarded women and panties in his wake.I've burned through women like a wildfire roaring across a dry forest. Nothing has stood in my way. My passions have been all-consuming as I've indulged myself in all kinds of debauchery. I might think about settling down in a few years, maybe. But, for now, I'm content to sample the choice delights surrounding me. What single man in my shoes wouldn't say the same? Temptation is just too f****** tempting for me.And that's all he wants them to see. He hasn't gotten close to anyone since his mother and woman are nothing more than a release to him. But Adam's carefully controlled life is starting to unravel. First a betrayal by a longtime friend/business partner, and then he meets the woman who is about to turn his world upside down-he just doesn't know it yet.The way she looks at me is intriguing, a confidence only acquired with time and experience. Everything about her fascinates me, and her sudden appearance on the social scene bewilders me. But most importantly right now, her body ha totally aroused mine. This combination almost never happens...Kathryn Delcour is a beautiful, sexy as sin mystery to Adam. New to the social scene, and pre-warned of his playboy ways, shes quick to put him in his place which does but intrigue him further. A little digging provides him with some surprising information on her-she an instructor in the art of Tantra which explains some of her comments to him at their initial meeting.“I wonder, Mr. Kingsley. Do the women you frolic with have a release? Do you make them come so hard they forget their name? Or did you leave them with nothing? Not even a parting gift or their dignity as you shuffle them out of your limo onto the sidewalk. The truth is all the money you possess can't make you a man.”He has to learn more about her, just being around her is not only highly arousing, but it's stirring up feelings in him he hasn't felt in a very long time. Kathryn tries her best to keep him at a distance, she will not become one of his backseat conquests. But his alluring charms paired with his persistence is hard to resist and he is determined to explore this pull he feels to her.I long to share my true thoughts, telling her that until I met her last night I've never felt anything more than a physical attraction towards another woman. This pull I feel towards her is something very different. I have no words to define it.Just when he thinks his life can't spiral any further out of control, threats to his business turn to threats on his life and leaves him feeling more vulnerable than ever. The only thing keeping him grounded is Kathryn, now he just needs to convince her of that. From the very beginning this book firmly gripped my attention. The chemistry between Adam & Kathryn was off the charts and made for some very steamy scenes. I loved that she had no problem calling him on his crap and cut right through to the heart of him. The ending was not cliffhanger per say but it was kind of abrupt, left me with lots of questions and salivating for more. The entire book was just beautifully written and I loved every minute if it, I can't believe it was the authors debut-I look forward to reading much much more from her. While holding her I realize I've never wanted a woman to be mine before. Only mine. But I've never met a woman like Kathryn before, either. My feelings for her are foreign and unrecognizable. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I wonder if I might me falling in love with her.Jenn @ Bookworm Betties

Took me about 1/2 way to get into it
I went a little crazy looking for this book. I saw it on blogs during the tour for it, I swore I put it on my TBR list. It wasn't there. I posted on Facebook, on my blog, asked everyone in groups I knew. I could not find this. Turned out, I was mixing this cover up with Cameron Jace's books because I thought I was looking for a fairy tale with a cover that had a woman laying down, bluish toned, and an apple. Seriously, that cover looks like a fairy tale. Not a fairy tale at all.I started this as soon as I bought it, and I honestly wasn't sure what I thought of it. The main character, Adam, was a jerk to begin with. I couldn't see how I was going to like him at all. I liked Kathryn though. She had the attitude I wish I could pull off - smart, sexy, confident, able to put a cocky full of himself man in his place.Because I didn't like Adam at first, I spent the first half of the book not really caring where this was going, I kept reading though because I had worked so hard to find out which book it was I actually wanted to read. I like the men in my books to be alpha males, domineering, protective, etc. When this book started, he was just a plain a$$, pardon my language, but he truly was a donkey. Once he started working through his issues, he became more likable.Overall it was ok. The tantra parts were cool because though I have heard of it, I don't really have a lot of knowledge about tantra. Those scenes were hot.The drama surrounding Adam, was a little predictable. I knew what Simon's problem was before he knew. I didn't know see one thing coming that happened at the end, that was a point in the book's favor. There were maybe 3 or 4 grammatical/spelling errors that I noticed. (I'm not the world's smartest person when it comes to punctuation, but the grammatical/spelling things I catch.) There weren't so many that it distracted from the story or made me have trouble reading. It was just a few spots where I noticed, thought did I just read that? Went back, read it again, yep. That should be this.I do understand why some people would give this 5 stars. If you like the character Adam, find his character sexy, and if you like Catherine, the hot tantra scenes, it all would add up to a 5 star review. Adam to me was just such a jerk from the start, I wouldn't have given him the time of day to see where the relationship would progress. Look what I would have missed out on though.Overall, I liked it. Once I got to the half way point, I finally got into it. Would I pick up the sequel? Yes. Now that Adam is in a place where I like him a bit more, I want to see where there story takes them. That is what is pushing this review up from 3 stars to 4 for me, wanting the sequel. If I could rate a book just on it's cover, I would give this one 5 stars. Gorgeous. I think that is one of my favorite covers to date. It's beautiful. That cover is what had me on a 3 day hunt for this book.

Adam's Apple
Adam’s Apple is about the billionaire Adam Kingsley but it isn’t your usual tale of a billionaire. He isn’t your BDSM control freak for a start. This book is also told from Adam’s POV which I found refreshing and it also helped the story not to be another billionaire book. Adam has everything he wants a successful company, fantastic lifestyle and beautiful girls on tap to fulfil his one night stands. That is until he meets Kathryn Delcour and Adam comes undone. With Kathryns’s help he faces his past and realises that he has actually been missing out on life and his lifestyle isn’t that great at all. Finally Adam has met a woman who he wants to see more than for just one night.I enjoyed Adam’s Apple, I really enjoyed reading it from Adam’s POV but it didn’t grab me. The characters are well written and likeable but the plot wasn’t exciting/engaging enough for me. There are a few steamy scenes but not enough for me to class this as Erotica but they are enjoyable. There is a cliffhanger but the next book is out so there is no waiting but I’m not sure if I will read the next one. Even as I am writing this I want to go and purchase it immediately but then I think about all the other books that I’ve got and I think nah. What I do what to mention is the cover as I think it is gorgeous. I am giving Adam’s Apple 3.5 stars.

Touchtastic..
4.5 touchy, feely stars..Wow..what a great story. Had all the elements to ensure a riveting read, topped with the H's humorous POV and a foray into the touch of Tantra!Adam Kingsley is a very rich man. He is aspiring, alluring, and extremely arrogant. He has an escalade that experiences more backseat action than any hotel room, and he is very pleased with his reputation that precedes him, thank you very much.Until he spots a dark haired beauty at ANOTHER fundraiser that draws his attention. He's captivated by Kathryn Delcour and wonders where she has sprung from, given he has ploughed his way through most of the available women on the Manhattan scene.Kathryn is not impressed by his wealth, good looks or unrelenting charm, but his persistence pays off when she suggests he might want to try the healing touch of Tantra. This part ends with an amount of suspense, enough to certain our leap into the next book. But there is no cliffy, I'm pleased to say. I just could not put this book down, and very much look forward to the next installment.

A good read :)
I was recommended this book and purchased the whole series. Adam Kingsley in his own words "goes through women like wildfire" and has a past that affects how he behaves until he meets the delightful Kathryn, an expert in Trantra. Of course, as we expect nowadays, his past exploits catch up with him. Adams Apple is the first in the series and what I enjoyed was that not all the answers were given although there were enough to not leave this reader frustrated and questioning. I was left wanting to read the second book.I have one pet peeve, I nearly knocked a half star off but decided it would be petty. There is no part of my anatomy called 'sex'. I've checked, I've asked the doctor and nope, no part. Sometimes, when I read a book that refers to my girly bit's as a 'sex' I feel the writer lacks the confidence to write sex scenes. Not in this case. Ms Morris writes her sex scenes in a way that totally suits the scene and the characters.I look forward to reading the second installment and learning more about the background of Adam Kingsley. Recommended.

Adam's Apple , very,very juicy !!!
With all the erotic "50 shades" type novels about at the moment I was pleasantly surprised by this book, I've come into my comfort zone in this kind of literature and really enjoyed many but Liv Morris has managed to turn a simple idea into something really quite fantastic . I loved the male pov while a female is in the driving seat , the dynamic of Adams relationships with his staff tell the reader how vulnerable he is an how he has badly healed from grief and loss , I could go on as to how good this book is but I'd only spoil it for you, read it for yourself , only took me 2,nites . Hot , sexy ,edge of your seat book , can't wait till the next instalment xxx

Captivating story
Loved this novel, the writing style, characters and a pace that kept the readers interest. The setting is Manhattan, Adam is rich and gets what he wants particularly women. He meets Kathryn at a fundraiser and to his amazement this beautiful woman says no to his charm and refers to him as a boy with a lot of growing up to do. Adam is famed for his one night stands which Kathryn is aware of. She is advised to keep away from him. But Adam is relentless in his pursuit of her and she relents to his charm. Adam has a tormented past that is catching up with him.The novel ends with a cliffhanger.I shall certainly be reading the next instalment.Recommended
