Caught about 5 bass off this thing it’s a lot different then the original whopper ploppers instead of the plopping sound it make a buzz sound

I’ve caught a couple smallmouth on this lure. One was a reaction strike as soon as it hit the water. The other was a nice smallie coming from the deep to destroy that buzzing noise above! The prop appears to be pretty substantial but time will tell how many beating on the boulders it can take …

The media could not be loaded.  Very nice! Exactly what I was expecting! Deliver was fast! Hopefully it will catch a big one!

Don't compare this to other brands or even a whopper plopper. This Yo Zuri product is its own class. I love the prism effect, the great floating posture, as well as a noticeable sound (seems to be a higher pitch). Would work well for dark nights or stained water. You can work the bait several different ways. You can burn it, slow retrieve, zig zag, or (my favorite) side sweep. One spot that I try has very lazy bass. I found that when i let the bait sit for 30 seconds, I got more hits. I would sweep it, sit, and wait. I had a small bass absolutely T-Bone it twice on two different retrieves without biting. I didn't catch him but it will work. What an absolute rush. The prism gold black didn't work as well but the frog needs to be in your cart. Perhaps changing ponds/lake will yield different results.

Looks like a quality solid product. Have not caught a fish with it yet.

I usually reel this in slow without stopping. I know it's made to pop but if you reel it in just to where you can hear the little prop blades make a whining noise the fish will smash it. I've hooked them in the mouth,tail and in it middle of the fish with this lure

Cheap garbage not worth your money

Most bites occur as soon as it hits the water. If not, the hits come shortly after I start my retrieve. A slow retrieve is all you need for the propeller to work. Excellent quality, with very sharp hooks.
