Really nice gel with a watery consistency that soaks into the skin very quickly and dries down with no stickiness. I've been using this more like a daily lotion because of the hydrating ingredients (vs just for sunburn) while I've been visiting Tucson, AZ for a couple months... which has an extremely dry climate that my skin was not used to. It's absolutely helped my skin since I've been here.You can also layer it / re-apply many times without any issue or pilling. I also have been using it on my face daily (i have acne prone skin) and I am convinced that the hydration from the aloe + the hint of rosemary with it's antibacterial/anti-inflammatory properties has actually helped with breakouts. It works great as a primer under makeup and it plays nice with all of my different foundations and other face products.the scent is very very light when you pump it out and becomes scent-less once its rubbed in. You do not smell the rosemary (if that scent bothers you.. it won't be an issue at all).

I really really like this stuff. I am prone to breaking out so I have to be really careful about any kind of hydration or moisture product. I have had the best experience with using this stuff. First of all I loved that it was highly rated on ewg. Secondly, I put it on after I wash my face and my face feels hydrated soft and healthy. I've also had a couple of healing blemishes or scratches and used it on them and it has sped up the healing process. I do tend to get dry around the mouth in the winter and I have found that just one application of it will not keep me from feeling dry or tight in that area. What I will often do is apply one layer of it wait for it to dry apply another layer of it wait for it to dry and then just put a little bit extra right in that area where I am extremely prone to dryness. I kind of Pat it on so I'm sure that I'm getting it into my pores. It is so light and quick drying. I feel absolutely no greasiness or residue whatsoever. This stuff is fantastic. As I said though if you are extremely dry you may find that you need just a few drops of something else in addition. It has no sense. A very clean and effective product.

My husband and I are trying to be better about buying products without a bunch of chemicals, and this was one of the only aloe brands listed on the EWG website as clean, so we gave it a shot. It goes on really well and feels super smooth. The consistency is a lot more watery than other brands I’ve used, but it’s very moisturizing and feels great on your skin.That said, it does dry pretty quickly. This is great for everyday use, but if you're someone who likes to use aloe for sunburns, this one might not be the best option. It works fine for a mild burn, but it dries too fast to be comfortable on a more intense one.Overall, though, I love this product and will definitely buy it again.
