Engine Coolant Thermostat Assembly OEM 483 4100D

Installed on 2008 E350. This was my first attempt at a repair on a Benz, so it took a little longer than I expected. Nevertheless the part fit well, and I was pleased ot know that with the rubberinzed gasket (as opposed to paper) it didn't require a gasket sealant. God rid of check engine light and engine quickly warms to normal operating temperature - vitally important for this cold winter.I would highly recommend this thermostat; just hope it lasts longer than the 68K miles on the original.

Part was identical to the OE Wahler that was beginning to fail. The only difference is this part has a dimple exactly where the Mercedes star was on the factory original part. Installation was straightforward. My temperature gauge reads a steady 90*C. My climate control now works properly again. This was an excellent alternative to buying from the Mercedes dealer and at $76.00, it was about half price. Really, what's not to like about paying half for the same part?

Do your research on the auto parts sites! I found repair videos on YouTube that helped build confidence in parts and repairing. I had choices where to buy the thermostat part for my Mercedes GLK350, and believed Amazon was the least risky. Having pulled out the old MB thermostat, and replaced with the new that was a near identical, I saved the dealer difference in costs. (you need all the right tool bits) The dash warning engine light did not go off until 200 miles later. MB service says the engine service light will not immediately go off, but after the onboard computer has sensed correct operation over time.

Identical to the OEM thermostat I removed. Fits like OEM, works like a charm, saves you a few bucks from what the dealer will charge extra only to have a MB star stamped on the side.

This worked perfectly as a replacement thermostat on my 2007 Mercedes C230 Sport (W203 body and M272 engine). After researching a bit on Mercedes forums, I discovered Wahler is the OEM supplier for Mercedes. This is the same part as you would buy at the dealer for 2x the price. The only thing lacking is the tiny Mercedes Star stamped on it.I replaced it myself with no issues. I also replaced my coolant with Zerex G-05 at the same time. It's working perfectly.

Perfect fit as advertised, including the gasket. I installed it on my 2008 MB R350 4Matic and all is working fine as specified by MB. Great price!

The Box was open seems this was a return product??

Was an easy replacement, and fit as advertized. I recommend going to Youtube to view installation instructions.
