Pretty good but room for improvement
Very clear and easy to see even in the sun. It's only as accurate as your car's ECU is reporting but offers settings to offset the value- out of the box, mine was right in line with the speedo. There's also the GPS mode but that's unlikely to agree with the speedo (GPS is actually more accurate). The USB cable that plugs into the ODB port is plenty long and the grippy dashboard pad does its job (and isn't actually adhesive, which is nice for repositioning the unit). There are a good amount of settings to play with. One I'd like to see is to use Throttle Position or electric motor power output instead of RPM, because I have a plug-in hybrid and the gas engine isn't always on.My major gripe about this product is actually something I'm surprised other reviewers aren't mentioning. There's no cowl facing the front of the vehicle so everyone, including the popo, can see your speed lit up like a christmas tree on your dashboard. In vehicles with factory HUDs, the display is recessed into the dashboard to prevent this but obviously that can't happen here. I made my own cowl with black electrical tape and there seems to be no issue, though I may 3D print a better solution because I'm sure it won't last.I also had the issue with the unit causing DTCs. I'm not sure what triggered it, but I plugged it in and the unit showed only the voltage. Then I turned the car on and got tons of errors popping up on the car's screen. Cleared them with another ODB scanner and they haven't gone back- I'm sure it messed with the CAN bus somehow and confused a bunch of modules, but that's a risk with anything ODB. I'm hoping it was a fluke and with regular use I won't see that again.

This isn't right for me
The instructions on how to install this are not in the box. The instructions in the box tell you only how to use it, not how to install it. You need to look at the listing that tells you what the pieces are and then you can figure out what they want you to do for installation. I can look past this but I can see how this will be frustrating for people that need complete instructions. My 2021 Honda Pilot leaves two images about a 1/4 inch apart from each other on the front window so it's annoying to look at. I don't want to have a random piece of plastic stuck to the inside of my front window to only see one image so this is a deal breaker for me.I was also concerned about how this was powered on when my car was turned off. I'm not looking to have a dead battery because of poorly engineered electronics for $30.00The other one-star reviews scare me and I wish I had seen them before I bought this. It has to many things wrong with it to be suitable for my use.

Less is more, always. Very nice product.
Loved the HUD. This is the closest to OEM that you’re going to see. I read a lot of the reviews stating that they had to calibrate the device after plugging it in. I can’t say that I had to do anything. I used the OBD2 port to wire the device and ran the wire through the A pillar and down the door frame and installation took all of 3-5 minutes. The trick is to place the device around until you get the desired projection, mark it and then stick with the given sticky pad. It hasn’t moved, and I even have it placed in such a manner that it’s near impossible for myself or the passenger to see that there’s even a device there. Everyone that’s seen it so far has asked me if the car came with it. Read the instructions, and I can’t stress that enough. If you just plug this in with the USB cable, you’re going to have a hard time calibrating this to read accurate speeds. As for the display itself, I think less is always more. You aren’t going to find an after party HUD that looks like something built with the vehicle due to the messiness of information and lack of it being built into the dash panel. This is great. Reads speed, and even shows a freakishly accurate rev counter. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.
