Feosol... no nauseous, more energy!
Having been through numerous iron supplements, I am thankful my physician recommended this one! Feosol works great and my bloodwork proves that for me! It also doesn't upset my stomach nor make me nauseous as other brands have done. Thank you Feosol for helping me get my energy back!

Ingredients Caution
I don’t know how y’all feel about added ingredients that are not necessarily needed but added to this iron supplement. FDA Warning, Yellow#6 and Red#40. Then there is Polyethylene Glycol, a petroleum derivative. I bought this because of reviews but then I found out what was in it and I ordered plain old iron. One of the best choices I’ve made. Nature’s Bounty 65mg. The reason I was looking for iron supplements is because I started having shortness of breath, very weak, fatigued and blurred vision. I was desperate for relief. I bought this and no relief. Took it for a month. Not enough mg’s of iron. Slow very slow process. Doctors recommend 65mg to really get relief. Sure you need a stool softener but no big deal taking both. Please read all ingredients and Google them. Don’t listen to the hype research ingredients before you put out your hard earned money on something you would have to take much longer at a greater expense. One more thing if you are really anemic it’s bad. Plus if this isn’t used for a month or two, don’t post a newly purchased review that tells us nothing only that you bought it. I am now recovering from the actual iron that actually works. I can’t recommend this at all.

Increased my Hemoglobin and Hematocrit quickly, while just taking it intermittantly, but terrible digestive system side effects!
I don't eat much meat, not because of ethical or health issues, but simply because meat doesn't sit well with me. I was terribly anemic and my ferritin level was down to a 5 aside from my H&H levels in the severely anemic category! I had developed frequent restless leg episodes out of the blue. One of my doctors, after seeing my ferritin level, told me that RLS (restless leg syndrome) is more common with low ferritin levels and mine were in the toilet and also prescribed ropinirole. My family doctor agreed and recommended the Feosol Bifera to get my ferritin level up to the recommended level of 50. I had been taking the Feosol intermittantly for several months, as I have the constipation side effects (supposedly not a problem for most, but horrible for me). I went back to my doc with a new ferritin level of 17, but my Hematocrit and Hemoglobin were now great!. My doc was not happy, he suggested that, while I'm taking feosol that I also taked PEG 3350 (which doesnt work for s**t!). So I have another blood work next week and I've been taking it daily with juice containing vitamin C. I don't think my ferritin level is even close to 50 and my RLS is slightly less frequent, but that still isn't good enough and doesn't matter when I'm up at 0200-0300 in the morning with my legs going crazy! And, I suspect that I have a boulder inside my belly from the iron, regardless of claims to the contrary (that Feosol Bifera doesn't have the constipation side effects)..So, Feosol worked fantastically for my H&H, even when not taken regularly. But I needed to take regularly to raise my ferritin. The constipation problem was bad enough. Now that I'm taking it daily, as new blood work is coming up, my bowels are paralyzed, even when taking every measure possible to counteract just that side effect. I should know, I'm an RN and have worked in the gastroenterology department! I'll update after my next ferritin blood test.

A must buy if you have low iron!!
AMAZING! My iron levels have always been on the low end when I’ve gotten blood tests done and I never did anything about it. Then I got pregnant and really focused on trying to increase my iron levels especially because of exhaustion. This has been a game changer for me and I love that it has the Heme and Non-Heme iron. Highly recommend!

Gentle on stomach
Didn’t upset my stomach. Larger pill than I expected but not terribly large.
