Finally a Pencil Grip My Child Wants to Use — Big Improvement in Just 2 Weeks!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My 5-year-old has really struggled with holding her pencil correctly, and we've tried other grips in the past that she absolutely refused to use—so they didn’t help at all. These grips, however, have been a game-changer. She actually likes using them and says they’re comfortable and easy to hold. They’ve made a big difference in her finger placement, and I’ve already noticed her holding her pencil correctly even when not using the grip. Her handwriting has improved significantly in just two weeks. Highly recommend for any child working on proper pencil grip!

Helps relieve hand pain, very durable
I started a new job filling out forms. 1,000 forms in, I started having hand pain. I looked online for something to help. This was the first thing I tried, and it does make a difference. Why? Think of walking all day in shoes with a lot of cushion vs no cushion. And they are fat, so your fingers aren't in a tight pinch. Now if I'm writing, I'm using one of these. I also ice my hand and do hand exercises (google exercises for hand pain if you're having this issue too).

Just what we needed!
Exactly what we needed! These are the same grips that my daughter's school uses, except prettier. They came lickety split, within 24 hours! My kid is happy, and I'm glad, because we really needed these things. Thanks!!!

Ergonomically perfect
These grips have worked great for my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter and helping her learn how to hold a pencil. My only issue with these is that they are so hard to remove and put on another pencil.

Works!
Works! I spent decades holding pens and pencils incorrectly, and I’m not sure why the habit was never corrected. Maybe it was overlooked because my penmanship was still decent, even though I gripped my pencil awkwardly.I purchased this kit along with a Cursive Handwriting Workbook for Adults and practiced for 15-30 minutes a day. The blue gripper worked best for me. At first, it felt unnatural, but after four weeks, I no longer needed the gripper. Now, holding a pen or pencil correctly feels completely natural!

Bought for my toddler, but I use them on my crochet hooks too. Very useful
My toddler is having a hard time holding her pencil so her teacher suggested these tools. She enjoys squishing them but it is also helpful in showing her how to hold things. There were six in the container so i decided to try one on my crochet hooks, and what a game changer! my hands don't cramp or get tired as quickly. Its great.

Nice idea, but hasn't worked yet for my daughter...
I read the reviews on these pencil grips and thought I had stumbled upon a solution for my daughter's poor pencil grip. Unfortunately, they haven't really done much to improve my daughter's grip.My daughter is 6 years old and in kindergarten. Last summer, before she entered kindergarten, I noticed that she had a poor pencil grip. I guess I had noticed it before but hadn't thought much of it, but now that she was going into kindergarten, it suddenly seemed more important. I was a little annoyed that her pre-school teacher never thought it was worth addressing. Anyway, she usually likes to hold the pencil with all 5 fingers, with the pencil pointing straight up and down, not tilted at an angle.I do think these grips have a great design. They are squishy and comfortable, they come in fun colors, and they do ENCOURAGE you to hold a pencil correctly. My daughter likes the idea of using them, even though they don't seem to help.Somehow, my daughter still manages to hold the pencil incorrectly on top of the grip. She picks up a pencil with the grip, and her first instinct is to hold the pencil incorrectly right over the grip. I have to remind her EVERY time to re-position her fingers. But even when her fingers are in the correct position, she still holds the pencil straight up and down. I bought these grips for her last summer before school started, and she has used them for the past 8 months. We just had her spring parent-teacher conference, and the ONLY concern the teacher had was her pencil grip. We're going to continue to use them because they are better than nothing, but they haven't resulted in the kind of marked improvement I had hoped for.
