Easier than I thought. Aesthetically pleasing
Im in no way handy with tools so was hesitant to buy this having to cut a hole in the wall. Finally amped myself to do it. Ordered a drywall cutter traced the outliner of the holder that is provided. Got to cutting less than 10min and it was done. I did have issues with getting power to it but I whipped up something. Basically I made an extra hole bottom near the floor and passed the power cable through tied with a metal hair clip. Then I put a magnet through the hole that was made for the mount and started fishing. 5 minutes later I was able to get the metal with the magnet and pulled it out. Then tada it works. I did mess up by not using a stud finder because I made a hole and stud was there right down the middle. So the hub couldn't sit in. So yeah I bought a hole patch (a new experience for me as well) got the wall patched then retired now knowing where the stud was and all done ✅ looks great👍 very happy with it. All this took (including patching the first hole) 35 minutes

Finally! A Flush Mount Wall Bracket for my Nest/Google Home!
You'll find many mounts for this Google/Nest module. Most are a shelf like or an extending arm that bolts into the wall. This one will make your Google/Nest Home look like a tablet or a fancy wall mounted Smart Home Control Pad. Looks more professional this way. I'm planning to have one of each installed in my walls between the basement and the upper level. I have some tools at home so it was pretty easy for me to do myself. All you'll need is a philips and flat head screwdrivers and most important a Drywall Knife. A different knife could be used but the drywall one is most efficient and makes the job much easier. Comes with the stencil to cut the opening. ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING: Make sure to install right above your power outlet. This way you won't hit one of the 2x4 planks beneath the drywall. If you do. That will ruin your drywall. Comes with a power cord extension which I didn't even use. The Google's cord was long enough. I'm truly happy with the purchase. Already have more ordered for different levels of the house. Thanks!

Good solution for wall mount option
Why no one has come out with a wall mounted smart screen is beyond me, this isn't perfect but a pretty darn good option to configure what is available to put a google hub on the wall. I read reviews and watched some videos of people installing. The biggest criticism seemed to be it not firmly snapping into place at the top. As a precaution from what others had said when cutting the hole I tried to make it tight towards the top of it, the plastic was bendable enough that I got it pretty tight but then... it was too tight and wouldn't snap in at all. Had to trim the drywall slightly a few times to get it to fit right and also snap in, but even if it didn't snap in the weight of the google hub keeps it in place. It seems like these are just run off a 3D printer, if anything it could be made of a more durable plastic to help with that "snapping in" issue at the top but overall a well designed solution to the problem.

Best solution for google home... IF
This is the best solution for google nest hub granted you can fish the wall and or have a new construction!I was lucky enough to find these as we were building our new house and incorporated 6 of them in critical areas throughout the house. It looks super sleek and holds the unit well. Even though it conceals most of the speaker in the wall the sound is still more than acceptable. Command confirmations can be heard clearly and music sounds decent although it is slightly diminished over having it on End Table/shelf.So with such a positive review why only four stars you ask.. well that for the POE adapter that they make for this unit.. I got 10 of them for these and also google minis that we have installed and 2 of them (within 2 months of use) have died which does cause me some concern over longevity of the POE adapters!

Does what it should, needs 2 minor changes
So I found this after I found the hub on sale for $49Took out my old alarm panel that we didn’t use anymore and put this ion it’s placeIt sits flush to the wall, less that 1/2 the thickness of a viv panelInstantly works with all other devices, nest door bell shows up on all displays when range, can use voice or touch to access other cameras, can adjust nest thermostats from them via voice or touchLooking to get smart lights next for this to controlCounting the cost of the hub and this, you can’t go wrong for under $75Did use Velcro on the top of the unit to make it more secure in the mountShould include 2 small adhesive Velcro strips vs the extensionMake it attached like a remodel box and this thing is gold

Amazing - don’t hesitate!
This product is amazing and I don’t know why Google doesn’t make and sell this themselves as this gives you a professional high-end looking smart home control that you can’t find anywhere else. Installs easy and looks beautiful. I get compliments on it all the time. Only thing to be aware of is how you’ll power the nest hub - I wired a standard outlet to this location and hid it in the wall right behind the hole for this bracket - not to code but it works.

Great idea but needs a little improvement
This is a great mount I was able to install it within 30 minutes. I drilled a small hole on the side so I don't have to run the poe cable. The hardest part is to cut the sheetrock. After you have the hole cut, the mount fits right in. The only issue I have is with the clip that holds the nest hub in the wall. It broke off right after I remove the nest hub from the mount when I was test fitting it. An easy fix is to use double side tape so the nest hub won't fall off. Other then that the product is great!

Fit like a glove
The mount was easy to install and fit our gen 1 perfectly. Kudos to Chris C. We had an old security panel next to our door from previous owners that was not in use. I hoped I could somehow use the wires to connect to google hub instead of running an outlet and hole next to it to plug in. Read Chris C.‘s review and right there was validation and a how to connect the wires. So glad I went to check reviews. It saves us time and allowed us to utilize what we had instead of making more holes. Thanks Chris!
