I had a tube of this cream left over from the hospital & used it on my mom, who is bedridden. The stuff is amazing. It's very thick, and does an excellent job keeping dampness off the skin.I'm told that it is pain relieving & stops itchiness. I can see that it definitely remedies any redness.I advise wearing gloves when applying....the stuff is THICK and hard to wash off hands. If you are using bed pads or waterproof mattress covers, you will NEED a DISH SOAP to get it off in the wash. Powershot or regular dish liquid, just something that breaks down oil/grease. The cream has some sort of a grease/oil base and just throwing the items in the washing machine won't cut it.Calmoseptine brings my mom soooo much relief, i always make sure that I have at least 1 tube on hand. If you are caring for someone with bed sore issues, this is the best thing I've found!

Calmoseptine is a healing ointment for skin problems. It waterproofs your skin with ingredients like zinc that don't wash off. The ingredients are mostly natural. I have used it on insect bites and staph infections on my skin with great success. It is very goopy so I cover it with bandages like Mckesson round, cloth vaccine bandages so it stays on without being messy. It takes the itch out with menthol and camphor so it is probably great on rashes , poison ivy etc.

This is a great skin barrier cream! It’s worth every penny when it comes to healing skin excoriation and skin irritation! The balm is sticky, so wear gloves, but the menthol feels amazing and doesn’t burn. Great for people with incontinence issues or bed sores in the early stages.

The best diaper rash cream. If they have a rash this will clear it up quickly. We used it for diaper rash when they had HFM disease too. Lasts a long time, only takes a small amount
