Why did you pick this product vs others?:I originally bought this to deal with some gym clothes and socks that just wouldn’t stop smelling, even fresh out of the wash. This actually works. I’ve been using it mostly on socks and towels, and everything comes out clean—not just surface clean, but sanitized clean. I especially like that this version doesn’t have any added fragrance. No fake lavender or powder smell clinging to everything. Just… nothing, in a good way. The only downside is the price. For something I go through pretty quickly, it’s not exactly budget-friendly. I can't believe I just recently discovered this. If you have pets, an old washer, stinky shoes, or just like a bit of an extra clean, this works well. We have several people in the house with sensitive skin and eczema, and this does not cause any irritation. It leaves my pet blankets smelling fresh. I have not noticed any issues with color.

I have a senior cat with bladder issues and this removes the odors from the blankets, etc. When he has accidents. Does not cause me any skin irritation as I have to use organic laundry detergent or free and clear. Love it.

This laundry sanitizer has become a staple in my laundry routine. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my clothes are not just clean, but also free of bacteria and odors. I work in a hospital and felt that it's doing its job.

This is a must have in the laundry room. Not meant for all laundry but it’s great for bed sheets and underwear. It’s great for any laundry that might accumulate bacteria over time that won’t come off from just a standard wash.

When traveling in my RV, I sometimes do laundry in RV park public laundry rooms. Since laundry soap doesn't kill all bacteria, and I can't bleach colored laundry, I like the idea of using laundry sanitizer. I borrowed a very fragrant type (different brand) and got a rash, so I like the idea of this fragrance-free product. But it's supposed to go in the rinse cycle and/or fabric softener dispenser. The very basic commercial washers don't have any dispensers. There's no rinse cycle indicators, and waiting around for the rinse cycle in an un-air-conditioned laundry room in super-hot climate isn't fun, so I emailed the manufacturer to ask if I can just put this sanitizer in at the start, with detergent. The answer was no, it won't work. I don't grasp the chemistry of that, but as the directions say, it's made to go in the rinse cycle. They did offer an alternative: soak the laundry in sanitizer then wash it. But since its not as much my dirty laundry as the public washer machine's bacteria that concerns me, that strategy might not work. So the only sure option is to guess when its time for the rinse cycle, trudge back to the laundry room, and add the sanitizer then. What kind of chemicals that might or might not leave on my clothes, I don't know. But lesson learned: don't just take the easy road by tossing this sanitizer in with detergent. It won't work. (Withholding one star until they make a sanitizer that will.)

I've been using this product for quite a while. It does remove the "I've already worn this once" smell. Also, it doesn't leave a fragrance of its own. Your clothes just smell cleaner. Additionally, it's priced the same on this site as it is in my local grocery store. One less heavy item to carry home from the store.

Maybe it's my imagination but seriously, my laundry feels so much cleaner when I add two cap fulls to a large load. I use it on sheets, towels, undies and socks. No more leftover funk. No overpowering fragrance. Just super clean laundry!
