Herbatint Permanent Haircolor Gel, FF1 Henna Red, Alcohol Free, Vegan, 100% Grey Coverage - 4.56 oz

I have been using this color FF Henna Red for almost 2 decades and LOVE it! The color not only looks good on me but also it is good on my hair too. I highly recommend it.

When I use this my hair foes not fall out at all comparing when I use other professional colors. And the color is so beautiful.

Color not true to packaging at all. I would say false advertising because my hair turned out to be a burnt orange instead of a henna read. Did not cover the grays well at all. Very bad experience and still waiting to hear from Customer Service for a refund after sending an email to weeks ago.

I can't say enough good things about Herbatint hair color. I discovered it when a friend developed an allergy to traditional hair dye but still wanted to color her hair. She had no adverse reaction, and when I ended up developing a hair dye allergy as well, I turned to Herbatint, and have been happily using their hair color for years. Every blue moon, I have investigated alternatives, like Naturetint and would have to deal with an upset scalp for weeks...Why did I stray? People make mistakes. Over time, my hair has turned grey so I'm dying it for grey coverage now rather than just color experimentation. Boy does this beat any other product on the market, no matter what price-point! I've tried dyes from Sally Beauty specially formulated to cover grey that didn't work at all, even with the addition of Grey Magic. Let me tell you, when Herbatint promises 100 % grey coverage, they mean it! And there's a line you can call if you have questions. I love Herbatint!!!

My third time purchasing. Others leave my hair nice, but later dry my hair out. Also being a mom, I did not want to smell my entire house out, or be required to sit outside while I wait for it to set. This leaves my hair soft, does not stain my counter tops, or anything I touch right away. Gives me enough time to wipe it off, and does not stain my skin! I am naturally a read head but my hair fades in multiple shades and prefer Unisom hair, I appreciate this does not fade right away. The conditioner they give last a long time and can be used very little to go a long way. Worth the extra dollars for this hair dye!

First warning, the colors tend to be darker than you might expect. I don't see that as a problem for me, but understand that if your hair is already dark, you may not get the results you expect.That being said, I love this product. I've used it for years, having developed a severe sensitivity to most box colors AND most salon colors. Herbatint has no harsh chemicals and far less of anything scary. Henna Red on my dishwater blonde and gray natural color is a deep cherry. It will not colver your grays 100%, but it does color them deep enough to give a pleasing highlighted effect. Make sure to use the Royal Cream conditioner after shampooing the color out. It makes all the difference in how your hair will feel post color.All reds fade, but this one tend to take longer. It's time for me to touch up my roots around the time the color has faded too much. Of all the "natural" red haircolors out there, this one is my favorite.

Delivery was fast as promised. The color is phenomenal and the product is lovely - no smell! Its amazing to have a at-home hair color product with NO SMELL! My hair was still dry feeling afterwards (which is normally for any hair coloring), but the included conditioner was great at restoring it to being soft as before!

The color came out really dark!
