Essential pipe thread adaptor for German taps
Essential adaptor for my new German basin tap tails that are 3/8” thread whereas UK isolators are typically 1/2” thread. Very easy to fit as a compression fitting. They’re neat and don’t add too much to the space required to fit.It would have been helpful to be prompted that this item or similar was probably a necessary additional purchase when buying Grohe taps

Simple Solution For Adapting Grohe Tap Tails to 15mm
I had been researching the best method to connect Grohe mixer tap tails, which come with fixed European 13mm, to UK 15mm. I tried some 15mm x 3/8” brass compression adapters but these did not seem to fit properly.I then ordered these adapters, which fit directly to the top of the isolating valves and then you screw the tap tails onto the narrower thread on the top. In the photos on the left you can see how the old tap tails were attached and on the right with the adapter and the new tails attached.I did not over-tighten as the rubber washer is sealing to the edge of the thread on the isolation valve. I made finger tight and then gave one tweak with a spanner. I have replaced two mixer taps and so far no leaks at all.To confirm, you will receive two items per pack. One of my sets also came with a mesh filter, the other did not. I would order again.

Works but watch out for bits missing
Most importantly, these arrived and they worked. I was a little confused as they were both marked as if they may have been used before (see photos). One had a white seal with filter in but the other did not. Neither had black ring seals in to fit the 1/2 inch feed. As I had been without a tap for over a week waiting for a replacement tap that did not have the adapaters, I went ahead and fitted. For anyone using these, probably best to fit these to the feed (1/2 inch) first. The secure on the 3/8th tap flexi pipes. So they worked and looked decent quality, it's just a shame I had to buy them because the tap from the same make was supposed to come with these supplied. And watch out, buy some extra seals just in case. Yours might come with them, mine did not.If they'd been unmarked and had seal as displayed in the picture, then i'd have given a better rating. Only time will tell if they last (I mean they should ofc)

Needed for Grohe and Hansgrohe taps
I was replacing two sets of Bathstore basin mixer taps with Hansgrohe. But cheap buy twice! These converters are necessary to reduce from half inch to 3/8ths. Bought one box like an idiot! I needed two pairs. While my plumber was fitting one mixer tap I rushed around 5 local stockists Toolstation, Screwfix, City Plumbing, Selco and an indeopendent. No joy on these so had to get a compression reducer set. Did the job but took up a little more space, which fortunately wasn't a problem. The compression fitting actually cost more. Plumber thought these were an excellent fitting, so my message is that if you are buying excellent German taps, these too are excellent and well priced converters to accompany them.
