What a cute and cleaver idea!

I bought one of these a few years ago to make dinner more fun for my eldest daughter. What a mistake. She loves her "hot dog dog" and demands it every time she has a hot dog, which is...more than once a week. I know, I know, but you try dealing with a picky eater. It's super easy -- after nuking a hot dog, I let it cool for a minute or two (to avoid exploding hot juices), then pop it onto the base and press the top down. Hot dog is perfectly cut into small pieces that she won't choke on, and its entertaining for her at the same time. My husband hates cleaning it (dishes are his job!) but its easy enough (use a toothpick if hotdog casing is getting stuck in any grooves, comes right out) and we throw it in the dishwasher most nights and it has held up super well. Anyway, along came kiddo #2, NOT a picky eater, but a very jealous one, and so we recently had to buy a 2nd one so that they could both have them at dinner together. Assorted colors I believe so while our first was blue, the second is green. luckily kiddo #2 likes green. so now they both demand "hot dog dogs!" for dinner (aka, hot dogs in these dog dishes) and my husband and I roll our eyes...and then do their bidding. I mean, if it gets them to eat...

While cute, it doesn’t cut very well. I suppose if you were using something besides a beef hotdog then maybe it would but it’s just not very sharp. And I understand it’s for kids but it could be better. Luckily I didn’t spend any money on it I had a giftcard so it’s fine. It’s easy to use and it but it’s not quick because you have to then pull the pieces out so kids can pick them up. It’s fine for the money & it is sturdy

This was adorable, my son saw this on a YouTube video and had to have. I love it because it cuts the hotdog perfectly and exactly how I want them cut horizontally and vertically into smaller pieces. It even has a spot you can put ketchup or any dipping sauce, and still looks cute it’s simple and easy to use also easy to clean and doesn’t take up much space at all I get lots of compliments when my son wants a hotdog and it’s a fun way to make him eat his hotdogs!

My daughter seen this on YouTube and wanted it. It kinda cuts it into pieces. Kinda crushes some of it. Mine came in a sealed package but was missing the bowl. The hotdogs I have, which I thought was standard hotdogs, are slightly too long. It does most of its job(entertaining my 5 year old).

My daughter loves hot dogs and she seen this on a YouTube Kids ad. She passed a very important test so I bought it for her. SHE LOVES IT! It's also dishwasher safe and so far the quality has held up perfectly. :)

I bought this for my 5 year old's birthday. I wish I'd gotten it sooner. This will save you some time from cutting up hotdogs. Your little one will be able to do it by themselves. The "dog bowl" ketchup container snaps on. It's so adorable that you may want to use it too 🤣Cleaning: I was worried about cleaning it but no problem there. It bends and takes it's shape back easily. I used a sponge, straw cleaner, and the dishwasher.

We bought this to quickly cut up hot dogs for our 2 year old, and were very disappointed with it. We put the hot dog in the tray and it was difficult to line up the top part with the bottom part. Then we were pushing so hard trying to get it to cut the hot dog and it wouldn't!!! Instead it pressed the hot dog so hard that grease squished out all over and made a big mess. We finally got the top tray to go down over the hot dog and what we were left with looked like ground up hot dogs pieces. It looked disgusting. It was not simple and easy to use! It is just made of plastic. If the "blade" part were metal it might have worked better. Complete waste of money. The video must be using a raw hot dog??? But that's not how we eat them around here. So it did not work on a regular all beef oscar meyer barbecued hotdog!
