Checking your crimps when done to make sure they are tight.
Havenβt used it a lot but it takes getting used to, a bit bulkier then the regular crimpers. The price was good.

Can become inconsistent for larger gauges
The flexibility of not having to determine wire gauge to strip is very handy, but if you're looking for a consistent strip point, I'd look at a pair of wire strippers that use the kind of bladed-hole method. These operate by gripping the insulation at one point and pulling it off at another, and the spot that the insulation tears at isn't always consistent (at least when I was working with a lot of 12AWG solid). Additionally, the little length-setting piece of orange plastic that you can tighten down stays tight for ~6 wires, and then risks jiggling out of place unless you re-tighten the thumb screw. It's not a terrible device by any means, and I'll keep it around for small wires for sure; that said, if you're stripping a lot of residential-gauge wire and want a consistent lead length, I'd recommend looking at other options.

Good crimper
I like these, they are hefty and good quality. You have to be careful that you don't cut into some of the thinner heat shrink connectors when you ratchet it all the way down. I used the adjustment feature to the lowest level and it still cut the heat shrink shroud around the connection. I solve it by using a tougher plastic connector.
