Best Choice
I've tried other brands and this Andis model works the best. Close shave and the trimmers are exceptional!

Piece of junk
This shaver lasted almost exactly 3 months and then the on/off switch was not working correctly. It would go from very slow to very fast and somewhere in between, then it wouldn't shut off, and it wouldn't turn on, then to turn it on you had to hold the button in while you were shaving which was very difficult to do. In looking at other reviews this seems to be a very common problem. When I called about product support I was told I had to mail the shaver to them at my cost, wait for them to fix it and then they would mail it back at their cost. This didn't make any sense since I needed a shaver in between and would have to buy one to replace the one I had. As far as I'm concerned their return / repair policy is a joke because you still have to buy a razor in between. When I wrote a letter to the company I asked for a simple reply that someone read it, which of course I never received.

Shave quality
Pros: Easy to use, clean and gives a smooth shave w\o irritating sensitive skin. Good value for the price.Cons: Does not shave neck satisfactorily; this issue may not affect all users because none of my electric shavers have performed well in this area.Summary: I have owned nine electrics over the years, my first at age 16 nearly 60 years ago. The only two that have really done an excellent job are the first one and this one.

Painful unreliable
I will say that it does hold a charge fairly well. I will also say it has got to be one of the most painful trimmers and razors I have ever used. And I am 60. Started using electric razors 25 to 30 years ago. If you shave everyday with this and never use the trimmer you are just fine. However if you're like me with a hectic schedule and no Board Room meetings waiting two to three days will net you trouble. The razor grabs hair constantly necessitating pre-trimming. You can only pull the trimmer One Direction as the other direction pushes it back into the unit causing it not to cut. The trimmer cuts and Nick's constantly as well as grabbing hair painfully. Don't even think about using this trimmer anywhere else on your body but your face and only with the skin pulled tight. You will just end up cut and bleeding. I generally have to pre-cut my hair with a pair of scissors as short as possible before I can use the trimmer and then the shaver. Along with the trimmer falling back into the unit constantly requiring you to have to hold it with your thumb the on-off switch begins to be Troublesome and requires holding it with your finger at the same time. I have disassembled and cleaned accumulated hair from the switch the causes this several times. The price isn't bad but as soon as I can bring myself to spending the absorbent amount of money required, I will go with Remington or Norelco next time.

Great Shaver But One Detail ...
Happy with this affordable shaver. It shaves closer than most electric shavers I've owned in the past including Braun. But ... the listed dimensions of the product are wrong. The specs here on Amazon cite 9.5" x 6" x 3", but the shaver itself is far more compact, 6" x 2.5" x 1". I have no idea what the larger numbers correspond to, perhaps the shipping box or the shaver inside the travel case? But for me the actual dimensions count because I take a lot of short trips and the shaver is very portable.

Cheaply built
Compared to my old Wahl that I had for years, this one is junk. No charging light to show power or completed charge. Trimmer does not retract properly. Old one came with three micro screens for different sensitivity. This has one, not the right one for me. Painful to use. Pulls whiskers constantly. Will be replacing with different brand. Cheaper is NOT better.

Drew blood twice on first use.
I had a Wahl 7367 shaver that looked just like this one, except for the red on/off switch. I used it for years. Wahl's 'Ultra Clean' screen on that electric razor is the only electric razor that I have located - after trying many - that gives my face a proper shave. When that shaver stopped working after many years, I tried very hard to repair it. But, alas, I could not. It appears the charging IC failed. So I found something as similar as possible in hopes that maybe whatever it is that is unique that Wahl does with its "Ultra Clean" shaver screen will still be available for use with this new model. After the 7339-300 shaver finally arrived - which is a fiasco I won't go into - I immediately opened the package, and tried it out. I noticed that the screen that is supplied with the shaver had the edge of the screen protruding from the plastic "head" in which it is mounted. I figured this was one of the new improvements for the new model. BUT NO! The protruding edge of the screen cut my face. The first time, I felt a sharp edge, but I didn't think it had cut me, so I went on shaving. Then I felt a sharp pain, and found in the mirror that this new "improved" model of razor had cut me. Twice. It actually drew blood twice the first time I used it!!! How can that be an improvement? The main reason I prefer an electric razor over a blade is that I often cut myself with a blade. If the new electric razors are designed to draw blood, what are those of us who do not like to bleed every morning from shaving supposed to do? Are we just old fashioned, now? Is the new American fashion to draw blood from all customers?Replacement screens (especially Ultra Clean screens) for this new model of Wahl shaver are not available on Amazon. Pictures of the shaver and replacement screens show 3 "lumps" in the screen instead of the 2 lumps in the prior model. So from the pictures Wahl distributed on the internet, I could only conclude that the inventory of Ultra Close replacement screens I had collected would not work with the new model. But when I received the new model, the screens did not look at all like the new "3-lump" product photos. They looked exactly like the old model. Since I still had the original model of apparently the same shaver which wouldn't work anymore, I checked to see if its Ultra Clean shaver head containing the Ultra Clean screen would fit on the new shaver. It does. So I guess I can still use my inventory of Ultra Clean screens. I stored the default screen which came with the new model 7339 shaver on my old Wahl shaver, and I am using the Ultra Clean screen from my old razor on the new shaver. That Ultra Clean screen was installed on the old obsoleted model when it quit after many years. This leaves many questions: Is quality control now so bad at Wahl that they shipped a defective screen which cut me? Or am I supposed to believe that the protruding sharp edge of the screen is a feature of the new design? Did I receive a defective product, or is this the new design? Should I return a defective product, or assume drawing blood from customers is just the new normal with Wahl like is has become with so many other American corporations? What's wrong with you people at Wahl??? Why couldn't you leave well enough alone, and continue manufacturing and selling a winning product???Later edit:After trying for days to get someone to respond via email and message, I finally reached a customer service representative on the phone at Wahl. (They used to have 24-hr service, but no more.) She offered to replace the offending screen with a new one. I requested that it be an ULTRA CLEAN version, and she said OK. She also insisted on replacing the cutter, even though I didn't ask. They are being mailed to my home address, which doesn't help much considering I am hopping Amazon Locker to Amazon Locker on my summer vacation. But I appreciate the gesture. It means the inventory of spare Ultra Clean screens & cutters I have accumulated will not go to waste. So I am trying to say something nice.I asked this customer service person directly if the old screens would work with the new shaver, and she blah-blah-blahed me about not knowing what model my old shaver was. I said I had it right here, but she had me at a disadvantage, because it WAS NOT MARKED. She as much as called me a liar; I retrieved the broken shaver; she told me the model number would be on the "belly" of the shaver. I asked if that was the front with the on/off switch, or the back. She said it was the back, and the model number should be engraved there. I looked again for the umpteenth time, and told her there was nothing there. I told her it was the model on which the protective plastic cover for the screen could not be snapped in place. She then asked me if my old shaver had a silver button, to which I replied YES. Then she told me it was a model #7367-400. (I got the impression she knew all along.)She proceeded to tell me that the screens from that obsolete model would work with the new model. I had to ask separately about the cutters. Then she told me that the cutters from my old shaver would work with the new model, too.Of course I don't know, but I get the impression their marketing weenies are considering running a scam in which they tell customers they must buy new more expensive screens to replace the ones that wear out, but the new screens are cutting people. In any case, they appear to be trying very hard on all media I have seen, and through their personal contact with customers, to keep from people that the business end of the new and old shavers are interchangeable. The new style of cleaning brushes which come with the new model are much better than the old toothbrush I have been using for years to clean the whisker powder out of the shaver after use. Unfortunately the bristles on the large brush (apparently for cleaning the cutter) are already beginning to look ratty after only a few days.So I began using the new shaver with the ULTRA CLEAN screen I had on my dead shaver. On the 3rd use, the shaver cut me, again! Having all that time to contemplate the situation while shaving, I began to wonder if the NEW CUTTER were the problem, instead of the screen. I resolved to change out the new cutter for the old cutter, so as to avoid being cut, YET AGAIN.But when I went to removed the cutter from the old shaver with the new screen attached, the protruding screen caught on my FINGER and almost cut it. So I am pretty sure the failure was in the manufacture of the screen. Still, I carried through on changing out the new cutter for the old. It was then I noticed that the new cutter is keyed so that the left side can be distinguished from the right side. You can still install and use the cutter in either orientation, but the ____ of the new key next to the installation hole would seem to indicate that changes are in store. Personally, I'm glad to be able to tell the upper rank from the lower rank of blades on the cutter. I have puzzled many times over which way it was oriented before I disassembled it for cleaning. So now we shall see what happens. I just hope I can cobble together an electric razor that works long enough to last until get back home without having to temporarily go back to using a blade.

Smooth close shave
Close shave at a good value. I am 74 years old. In my life time I strayed a few times to another brand and always come back to the Wahl. You just cannot beat it! Reasonable battery life, durable and easy to use!
