Ok so I’ve been riding MTB all my life (44 years old now) and would say I’m as good a judge as anyone on any mtb parts. Having said that I bought this stem for a work bike hardtail.Yes I have thrown it around a bit but never ridden a trail on this bike as I have a dual sus for that.Honest opinion is it’s as good as any I’ve used before upgrading the standard release with the bike you buy new. It’s holds tight, the bolts and threads are sound and strong but again these opinions are all based on a bit of street riding and work usage.For me I’d always advise you get what you pay for, but I have no complaints and would buy again for a work bike!

Great colour, and easy to install. It's a bit of a change moving to such a short stem, but no complaints on the item itself. Fitting went smoothly, and no issues since.

This is a very high quality mountain bike stem and is well worth the money at £9 were other stems at this quality cost from £20 to £30 so if you want a high quality stem buy this stem you want be disappointed

I've had sprockets from JGBIKE and now this stem they have all been excellent quality and really professionally packagedHighly recommended

bolt holes came pre rounded so couldn’t even tighten it up and the machined holes for the front bolts were out of place
