Great alternative!
Was hesitant on buying these but so happy I did. Very easy installation for my apartment rental. They fit perfectly between the blinds/wall and its very sturdy and also no drilling needed!

A renter must have!
One of the drawbacks of moving a lot is not being able to (or want to) drill holes in a property you don’t own. In my bedroom I need two things to sleep: a fan running *and* blackout curtains. Took me all of five seconds maybe to insert the Nono bracket into the existing rail and hang up the blackout curtains. Is this bracket pricey? Yes, but I’ll be taking it with me when I move again (most likely next year). Just ordered two more.. and to the gentlemen (especially bachelors) in the group: the women that come over are always shocked I hang up curtains (and not use aluminum foil ha). Say yes to Nono brackets; you won’t regret your purchase!

Love these
They work really well and I love them. But there’s one tiny minor issue, I can’t open my blinds the whole way anymore because the middle piece that slides over the blind track is in the way and so they only open half way now. That’s the only small issue I am going to complain about. These are really easy to install and look very good :) I highly recommend them.

Using for an apt
Using these at my son’s apartment because we didn’t want to worry about filling holes. They work pretty well holding up lightweight curtains.

The “outside” brackets work better
Happy Accident - bought the outside brackets on accident. I had to pop off the blinds to install (super easy, watched a YouTube video) and after about 15 mins had all the brackets installed. Once I realized I had the wrong brackets, I bought the correct (inside brackets) for my other windows and I cannot get these secure. I haven’t put up the curtains yet, but the outside brackets seem very very secure on my inside blinds. Worth a shot if these don’t work for you bc this seems like a great solution to drilling holes in the 20 years worth of layers of paint and dry wall, just for it to crumble LOL

Meh
The idea behind these brackets (as well as the outside mounted style) is genius. However, the brace that holds the mini blinds is wider than the width of these brackets. I took off the bottom portion of the bracket and just slid the top of the bracket inside above the brace. It seems like it will hold a light curtain rod and curtain. The other problems I see with these brackets (inside mounted as well as outside) is that you need to remove the decorative valance covering the brace for the blinds. Once you remove the valance the ugly brace is showing. The curtain rod cannot be very wide to fit the bracket so you can see the brace behind the curtain rod if you pull your curtains back at all.Sadly, not sure this is going to be my answer to covering the ugly mini blinds!

Great for no drilling
These are very sturdy rods. And are great if you’re trying to avoid drilling holes. The price is well worth it

It doesn't work!
If your inside-mount blinds just happen to be the exact measurements that the No-no Bracket is without adjustment, then these actually might work. But, for the 99.9999% of people that have to adjust the bolt to make the bracket larger to fit onto the blind mount, it's not going to work. The minute you adjust the bolt, the bracket starts flapping around. Nothing, including the crappy 3 pieces of cheap-o mounting tape they include to supposedly make the No-no Bracket stay in place, will keep these things steady. I even used three extra mounting strips I had to add to the other side as they suggested, but were too cheap to include. Didn't work! These were returned immediately because I wasn't going to leave them on and pray that they would stay up there, only to end up watching them crash through my window. Don't bother!
