Henckels Knives are part of our Kitchen Lexicon, and we have many. We use them often. We don't put them in the dishwasher out of mad respect for their Cut Above Quality, so we lovingly hand wash, dry them and put them to bed with their sleeping-yet-sharp partners. This knife in particular is a dream, especially on bread. I would buy it again, but Henckels last forever. So barring misfortune, that won't happen. There are others to choose from, so I may be back with another review. If I do, I imagine my review will go something like this, "This Henckels knife is awesome!!

We love this knife. Henkel makes handsome cutlery. Sure enough, this serrated knife is well crafted, balanced, just the right heft, and very sharp. It has served us well and is our go-to bread knife.

Henckels is a wonderful German brand of cutlery. They last forever if you take care of them.
