Bought to go with some pork and beans. Tasted good but a bit gritty. Everyone liked it and some had it with fruit and yoghurt as quite sweet.

Perfect for Thanksgiving

I used this all the time when I lived in the USA and although it’s about 50p a box there, it’s that good that I’m willing to splurge on it here. Simple, basic but the best mix for corn muffins and corn bread.

Not good value for money, doesn't taste amazing! To get a decent sized cornbread I used 2 packets, mine were In date .. and came well packaged.. but expensive for the quantity!

The muffins arrived quickly and very safely packaged. I made them up according to the instructions. I used slightly too much milk and overcooked them slightly and they were still really tasty and came out well. They were no trouble to separate from the muffin tin. They're slightly sweeter than I expected, but then American stuff usually is sweet to British tastes. They're great on their own, though I had mine with roast chicken yesterday and with chicken soup today. Given that they're so easy to bake, I might start experimenting with adding herbs and spices to them.

I usually pick this up whenever I am in USA so I was very pleased to find it in time for our large family Thanksgiving get together.
