This review will be highly subjective, because this jacket is very much a use-case scenario; i.e.: if it's for the reasons I bought it and will note here, great, buy it. If you're looking for something that goes more towards the negatives I point out, go with something else. Overall, I say it's a great buy for the price, especially compared with brand-name stuff.Pros:Out of the box, everything seems to be good quality, especially for the price; seems quite robust in fabric and stitching, and looks like it will take a good roughing-up and not tear up, but only time will tell.Regarding size: if you're looking to use it over other clothing, especially regular wear (I was/am), then the sizing is good; if you're looking for the adjusted/super-sport canyon/track carver fit, go a size smaller, or with a different design/style altogether, as it's slightly bulky.Re the fabric weight, same thing, I wanted it as a super outer layer, but if you're doing track days and stuff, get something else (it's almost more of sport-tourer jacket than a super-sport, although I imagine it would be good for cruisers and standards).The removable liner is perfect for my case: not too thick and warm (S. FL; and I didn't even break a sweat riding home int he Miami heat this PM from the pickup point)), but good insulation on chilly mornings, and easy to install/remove. Same with the armor pieces.Limited adjustability, but there is some weight snaps and straps (see below as well).Cons:It's quite a bit brighter/"orangier" red than appears in the listing. I imagine this will fade with time and usage (sun exposure), and it actually insures greater visibility, but it's definitely an octave up from Honda Red (I'm a Honda guy).The pockets are smaller than expected; they work fine, but getting gloves in and out of them is not as smooth as I'd want.The adjustment snaps and straps are fine, but the folds created in the fabric when they're used look like the'll cause a little wind drag; again, only time and use will tell here (same with weather-proofing).

Just got this today. This is a heavy jacket with a heavy shell. Even if you take out the liner it is still warm. The liner is easy to remove (unzips from inside and buttons onto inside of sleaves). I read other reviews saying the armor was just ordinary foam. The jacket I received has better armor than I have on some of my MX gear. You get elbows, shoulders and a back pad included with the jacket. The back pad is minimal, just a flat high-density pad. Unlike some of the reviews posted, my jacket came without defects. The build quality and materials appear to be very good. Better than I expected at this price point. I'm 6', 240lbs with wide shoulders and the XXL jacket fits perfect. I'd say if you are over 250lbs the XXL it will probably be tight. This jacket looks good. Not at all cheap looking. I haven't put it through heavy wear yet but from what I can see it has exceeded my expectations. Great value.

It did not fit well, too small. Not true to size, order a size up. The jacket itself seemed well made. And it looks good too.

This jacket is perfection in every way. One of the few times I've received a clothing size exactly as I ordered. I'm a large for T-shirts and shirts. I'm 5'11" and weigh 200 lbs, so I bought it in a large.The workmanship is very good. The details are very well done, the color is just as advertised, and the advantage of removing the winter lining makes the jacket very enjoyable for summer rides, making me feel more secure. The safety features fit perfectly in the pockets designed for that purpose.I am a true buyer of this jacket and I guarantee that if you need a motorcycle jacket, this purchase will give you great satisfaction. Seems to be made very well and it's very stylish. I've only had the opportunity to wear it once so far and I found it to be very effective and comfortable. I believe this jacket will fulfill my needs this summer with warm days and cool evenings. It fits well and seems to be true to size. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a summer jacket that is both functional and stylish.

Been looking for a really good windproof jacket with a removable liner.. this is it! Really happy with this purchase. Would buy again.. and recommend. I got a medium and I'm 5'10 160 lb and it fits perfect even with the liner in there's enough room for a long sleeve additionally underneath. Even for just wearing t-shirt stay fairly warm.. 80 bucks it's a no-brainer.

Wrecked my motorcycle and slid down the highway. The jacket held up great. Walked away with minimal scratches.

I wear XXL shirts and they swim on me. So I ordered the XXL coat and it was two sizes too small I couldn't even clasp the neck. Couldn't raise my arms to grab the handlebars. And the bruises were what I got when I tried. Too bad seems like an ok jacket but they are lying about the sizing.
