Great price, good picture excellent sound dependable tech
The part I love about LG TV is the sound and ease to set up. This TV has a very clear image, the darks are very good and the colors are rich and vibrant. The set up is also very easy and flows smoothly once you have your WiFi connected. Being smart (which all are) the LG offering for channels is free and not bad at all. Some random sports on there which you never thought you would watch! the rest is Netflix, amazon, Disney and every other online option you can think of, all of which function great. The hand set is ok, it is smallish and could do with a little more space for operation but you do get used to it after a while. My other TV has a scroll wheel in the middle which is great for menu navigation. Overal if you are looking for a TV that is reasonably priced and not a ASDA special cheap as chips make you can viagly remember from the 90s then this is your tv... good picture, great sound and lasts!!!!

Great budget TV from a trusted brand
We purchased this TV for occasional use in a small, two-person household. We didn't want the TV to dominate our living room and for it to become a space only for watching TV, so the 55" was perfect. Since we're a 'no-TV license' household, we use it in the evening to watch shows/movies on streaming services and for gaming. As owners of a couple of high-spec LG gaming monitors, our expectations were high and this TV did not disappoint. We had no issues connecting it to any peripherals. We've connected a dedicated gaming PC, which works perfectly with the TV. We've also been able to remotely connect to the gaming PC in the office and stream with good picture/sound quality. As the remote doesn't respond to voice commands, we purchased a small keyboard with a trackpad which connected easily. We also fitted a small LED strip to the rear, which plugs into the USB-C port, turning off and on with the TV. As other reviews have mentioned, the sound and picture quality is good for the price. It has a variety of display settings depending on whether you're gaming/watching movies, etc. Overall, we've managed to build ourselves a decent set-up for grown-ups looking to relax in the evening away from our respective desks without spending a fortune.Pros:Easy to install peripheralsGreat for smaller spaces or if you don't want the TV to be the focal point in the roomGreat sound/pictureMultiple display optionsEasy connections to a gaming PCCons:Not a voice remote – husband griped about thisNote:We can't comment on any Live TV features as we don't use them.

Tuning Live Wasnt Straightforward - But LG Channel is Great
I already have an LG 55 inch in the living room, love the colours etc. so decided to buy a smaller one for my son's bedroom. 43 inch for the wall was perfect. There isn't a coaxal aerial cable in his room so had purchased a portable one which I had tested on the TV in my bedroom (worked perfectly). Went through the set up process when starting up the tv. The voice is hilarious, sounds like someone who's had a gallon of coffee, talks so fast, I was laughing like an idiot. Got to the, what I thought was the tuning process, where it asked for my postcode. Expected it to then tune in the channels, it didn't. I thought must have already been in built. Connect to the internet etc, and "completed" the installation process. When I went to Live TV, just said "Not Programmed". Left it overnight and tried again next morning. Switched on and after a few minutes a message came up about tuning and it took me to the automatic tuning screen and I went through the process, channels were then installed. In Addition,I had never used the LG channel option on the tv downstairs, but when I selected it on this tv I was amazed at how many channels there were to select from! My son will have enough channels to view via the streaming LK option. There is always the gaming options as well. The picture quality is brilliant, sound is OK as well. Need to have a play with some of the different options, saying that, don't think my son will mind as long as he can get to Youtube and games. Kids!!!The remote is "testing" for want of a better word, going to have to have a few hours to suss it out; get the live tv Favourites set up etc. Its a newer version tv than the one i have downstairs so there are differences and not as straight forward i was hoping to mirror them.I am also going to have to take a look at the LG TV option on my lounge tv as well, i might have been missing out on loads.Attached a few photos, not the best, took them at 5.30 am so some had the bedroom light on and that is reflecting on the photos. All in all initially very pleased with the quality of the TV and very good value for the price of a "named" brand tv.

**Disappointing Experience with LG LED UR78 55" 4K Smart TV (2023)**
**LG LED UR78 55" 4K Smart TV, 2023 Review**I recently purchased the LG LED UR78 55" 4K Smart TV (2023 model) with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Since its purchase, essential apps like YouTube, Prime Video, and Netflix have failed to function properly, significantly impacting the usability of the TV.This issue is particularly disappointing, given the positive recommendations that initially led me to choose LG. Despite its promising features and specifications, including the renowned LG webOS platform, the persistent app problems overshadow its potential. While the picture quality and design are commendable, the software performance leaves much to be desired. I hope LG addresses these issues promptly for future customers and works towards improving the overall reliability of their smart TV features

Excellent buy
I bought this LG TV and it arrived earlier than expected. It took a bit of an understanding in setting up the tv and getting connected to my cable network.Once set up , we were pleased with the picture quality and the sound .The size is perfect in our living room and the functions on the remote are easy to navigate. The colour quality is easy on the eyes.I’m very pleased with the TV.
