Helps For Temp Pain Relief and Relaxation
I'm not a doctor or have any professional medical advice. I use this whenever I have aches or pains wherever in my body--back, hips--doesn't matter. Since I'm trying not to use even OTC pain killers, this is one of the methods I use.The first 25 seconds or so on the mat, and you think you'll die, that you can't stay on the thing. The more I use it, though, the quicker that feeling goes away. And then...it's just like warm normalness. I don't feel the pain anywhere. I just feel mellow. So I might lay on there 10-20 minutes maybe, and then getting off of it there's about three or four seconds of ow and I'm set for at least an hour or more without the pain issue.Yes, it doesn't fix it long term always. But it seems to reset your brain to stop fixating on what was hurting and while your bare back might seem like red chicken skin with the little indents, the effect is real. Relaxed, warmth, mellow.Very useful in those times when something is really bothering you pain wise and you don't want to turn to pills. I consider it part of my heating pad-ice pack-TENS pain relief arsenal.

Old Reliable – Underrated Recovery Tool That Actually Works (If You Use It)
I’ve had the ProsourceFit acupressure mat and pillow set for years now, and it’s still going strong—no rips, no wear, no broken spikes. It’s one of those things that seems gimmicky at first, but if you actually build the habit of using it, it becomes an essential part of your recovery toolkit. At first, it’s intense. Like, “why am I doing this to myself?” intense. But once you get past that initial discomfort and start relaxing into it, you realize how powerful it is for muscle tension, especially in the upper back and neck. I’ve found it’s especially helpful after heavy training days or long periods of sitting—like a full-body reset button. The trick is consistency. When I use it regularly—usually post-workout or right before bed—it makes a big difference in my mobility and overall sense of recovery. It’s a great way to get into a parasympathetic state and just chill out, even if it doesn’t look relaxing. Also, it travels well, it’s easy to clean, and it doesn’t take up much space. For something that costs less than a massage, it’s paid for itself a hundred times over. Highly recommend for anyone serious about recovery or building out a mobility routine that actually sticks. The pillow, however, is uselesss.Pro tip: want a jolt of energy as you wake up? Stand barefoot on it for 10 seconds.

Great
I absolutely love this. Ordered a normal size one a few years ago - it's the only way I made it through college with how many tension headaches I got. Helps with a rotator cuff injury I've been dealing with, too. This time I ordered an XL - unfortunately I received a normal sized one again. Hence the dock of one star. Not worth the effort of a return, given pricing and just general appreciation for the product. This time around the foam is more firm which feels great on the mat portion. The head pillow not so much, but I have a feeling it'll be alright.

My Painkiller
This is my "after job" back painkiller. any time I come home from doing a job (detailing a car) I come back with my lower back to mid sore, which comes into my life since I have scoliosis. this was something I saw on tiktok and I was curious, bought it.At the first minutes you will feel awkward and uncomfortable when placing you back in it, but over a couple minutes the feeling becomes numb along with the muscle soreness that is causing the back pain. then after 15 to 20 minutes of laying on it flat I raise off it with my back red but the back pain 85% gone that with a good stretch and a hot bath it is gone. magical little item to have on a side near the bed (ADVICE: Use the bed as interface to support the mat and give flexibility once you lay down on the spiky mat.

this long one doesn't exist
Or atleast I didn't receive it. ... It's very spiky which is nice but I received a shorter one instead of the long one in the thumbnail despite spending more money to get the long one. Atleast I got the pillow set and it shipped fast but they should be specific on such things

It works
I was on Instagram and a ads from Shakti mat won’t stop but then I saw the price and I was like hell no. I don’t even know if I would like this. But then I found this one and give it a try. It hurts the first 5 mins but wow… if you try to stay 10-20mins wow, all my back pain goes away. I recommended this to my 57yr mom who has a lot of pain in her shoulders and back, she tried it while she was visiting me and said she will buy one. So yes, I recommend this.

Great for my back pain!
I do a lot of heavy lifting at my job and I’ll end up at home with back pain that makes it hard to sleep. I was a little nervous at first about this and while it’s a little uncomfortable in the beginning, it felt so good to just lay on the more I laid there. I did a quick ten minutes and wow my back felt so much better! Definitely worth a shot!

Scary but worth it
I watched all these YouTube videos of people trying this out for 30 days and thinking, "Wow, you guys are idiots." But then they'd say they fell asleep on it, and I'm always up for a challenge, so I bought one. Then I preceded to stare at it for 3 weeks because I was really afraid of it. Finally, I tried it, expecting to end up with bloody puncture wounds all over my back, but it took maybe 2 minutes tops to relax into it. Then it was actually very relaxing and I found myself not wanting to get off of it. It makes you feel better, I swear to God. I'm a skeptic, and it really does work.
