If you enjoy fresh baked bread but struggle to cut uniform slices, this is the product for you. It's easy to use and comes with everything you need to make your fresh bread experience frustration free. I personally enjoy making my own bread but store bought uncut loafs work just as good. The design is solid and lightweight, the knife is good quality and sharp. Its very simple to clean. The value is definitely there. Its bit odd getting use to slicing horizontally but obce you do its pretty safe. The length is perfect for any size loafs pf bread. The only down fall to this item is it staying in place. That just means the footing needs a little upgrade but other then that this thing is fantastic! I highly recommend for easy sliced bread! (Mustard packet for size compasrison)

Great knife and breadboard combination. The serrated edge is perfect for cutting through bread. I make homemade croutons for soup and stuffing for Thanksgiving, both from French bread, and this will save me tons of time on some of the few things I can't run in the slice-and-dice food processor. I haven't tried it yet, but with a different knife, I could use the bread board for even cuts of sweet potatoes as well. Great buy for the money. Excellent vendor, quick processing and shipping, everything arrived as described.

The knife is keenly sharp & the right length to ride on the cutting guides. The bread board is solid & well labeled, however, the 2-supports are unconnected, which makes changing slice thicknesses time consuming (a fitted spacer insert will fix that). Otherwise, this breadboard and knife are just what we were looking for. It is compact, easy to store. The knife cuts so clean there are hardly any crumbs. We also purchased & attached 1/2" wide, adhesive backed Teflon tape onto the cutting guides to protect them and make slicing smoother. Very reasonably priced, just what we were looking for.

Before i even opened the box, i was impressed by the package it was in.After opening, everything was packaged well, and secure. There's not much to it, but that's why it's the Minimalist Series! But to my surprise, it came with a Pro Series knife.The edge on the knife is great, perfect way to start cutting.And it's super simple to use. But there are detailed instructions, as well as maintenance, safety, and storage instructions as well.Very happy with this purchase, and i look forward to having this high quality piece in my kitchen for a long time.And if you noticed, we are a knife family. Most everything i buy is CutCo but this stuck out to me and I'm glad we purchased it

This bread slicer is great and I’m really happy with it. The adjustable guide makes it super easy to get even slices every time. I want thick slices for toast and thinner ones for sandwiches. It has sizing slots that are easy to move around. It sturdy and the included knife is actually really good. Its very sharp. You can wipe the crumbs into the little divit on the end and eat them later. It’s also easy to clean and store with the magnet it has on the side, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s simple but really useful, especially if you bake your own bread or buy unsliced loaves from delis like i do. I make a lot of sourdough, banana bread and bagels. I can slice them all up at once and bag them instead of just when i want some.

I’ve been really impressed with the Piklohas Bread Slicer and 10-inch Bread Knife Set! And let me just say—the German HC stainless steel knife is SHARP. It glides through fresh loaves like butter and feels durable and well-balanced in the hand.My only wish is that there was some sort of mechanism to help hold the bread in place while slicing. Occasionally, the loaf shifts a bit, especially with softer breads, so a stabilizer or grip feature would make an already great product even better.Overall, I’m very happy with this set and would definitely recommend it to any home baker or bread lover looking to elevate their slicing game! 🍞🔪

The concept of slicing bread in a horizontal position definitely seems foreign the first few times, but after enough cuts you will get the hang of it. The knife quality is exceptional! The cutting board is simple to use and adjust and stays in place well with no sliding so long as your counter is clean and you’re applying firm downward pressure to your loaf.I would recommend adjusting for thicker slices depending on the hardness of your crust. Our hard crust sourdough did not slice well on 1/4” but was much better on 3/4” and 1”.

The knife in this set is very nice. I made a hard crust sourdough which usually ends up half crushed when trying to slice it. But with the combination of having the heel up on the cutting board and the slighter yet very sharp serrations on the knife it cut through far cleaner and with more ease than my other bread knives. Definitely can recommend this set even if it seems odd to cut your bread horizontally it definitely works to not turn your loaf into a flatbread.
