Absolutely incredible
The media could not be loaded. Bought this for a bit of fun to see what it would do, surprised how effective it was at putting out a fire and was bigger and louder than I thought, overall 10/10 would highly recommended

No, I haven't tested it
This device is a copy of a German invention. In this size it is useful to replace the very expensive, hard to obtain and rather insensitive melting-tube CO2 type of electrical cabinet extinguisher. A larger size is used for other applications. The manufacturer has a comprehensive website, but there are also several videos on YouTube detailing the device's construction and use. It is a hollow Styrofoam sphere containing powder extinguishant and a small explosive charge, just sufficient to burst the foam ball and disperse the extinguishant. Six safety-fuzes run from the charge around the outside of the ball, under the wrapper, so that flame contact anywhere on the ball will cause it to fire after a fixed delay (about 700ms, IIRR). The charge is so nicely measured that a man may fire the device in a gloved hand without injury, and the lightweight device may be taken from its bracket, even by a small child, and bodily hurled into a fire to extinguish it (with any luck).Because of the collateral damage caused by powder extinguishants it seems prudent in this application to confine this device to a closed box of some kind, together with the equipment it protects.

Bigger than I thought
If this is mini I would hate to see large! It is much bigger than I thought it would. It comes with a stand which makes it even bigger. Haven’t had to use it, thankfully, but more convenient than a standard extinguisher.

Test proved it works!
We just tested this, and the photos show the “Before & After”. This is a mini-ball so only for small fires, but it made short work of the bonfire, albeit in the confined space. It went off with an almighty bang, so you’d know if you had a fire in your house or outbuilding. Fire was completely extinguished, and there was clear evidence of powder and the remains of the ball. I will be buying a couple to place in high-risk areas of our timber-framed & thatched house.

Low cost peace of mind
Obviously can't review the effectiveness of this item but other reviewers 'tests' have convinced me. Having just had a large solar system installed and seeing the many many images online of burnt out consumer units (fuse box) following cowboy installs (not that I think my installer was) I've placed this inside my cabinet. Will be getting another to put with the solar batteries.

So far so good
Relying on others to test this but the mounting is suitable with standard ender 3 spool mount 👍👍👍

It worked
I put it above a couple open 3D printers and the horror of horrors happened, not the 3D printers, they had thermal runaway etc in the firmware but the filament dehumidifier sitting to one side! Anyway this snuffed out the fire quickly so it does work. No photo but I can say the negative bit was it covered everything in a layer of white powder and bits though and blew other things off the shelf so the printers control boards and power supplies are not too happy!

Small ball
As I haven't, thankfully, used it - I can't really comment except to say very easy to set up. Literally put the ball on the stand near where afire could break out. That's it
