I bought this to store some of my higher end microphones in my recording studio to deter visitors from slipping one in in a backpack or purse. However, even though I noted the inner dimensions and allowed an inch or two to spare, my microphone boxes wouldn't fit. The front locking mechanism also takes up some usable space.In my opinion the construction quality and design is excellent, however this is not really a safe but a deterrent to casual theft. It operates very much like hotel room safes. The fireproof container included to me is worthless. Too small for one thing. What this is NOT is a safe for valuables, NOT a fireproof safe, and absolutely NOT a place to store a firearm (probably illegal if you did).I decided to keep mine and use it elsewhere to prevent small electronics or other things of value from "walking away" when contractors or other visitors come in. I think it's a good deterrent particularly if hidden from a burglar who just wants a quick grab of valuables, but a pro with a screwdriver who finds it can probably open it in a couple minutes. No expert here, just my impression. For the price, it's a great option for low security deterrence. For precious valuables, I'd get a true safe installed by a professional.Just realize its limitations, and note that the usuable inner dimensions are a bit smaller than the specs indicate.

It’s great just the handle get stuck but great bang for the buck! Locking is great pretty sure it fire proof and works well and functions great. 3/5

This safe is exactly what I needed. It is sturdy and will definitely keep kids from getting inside. It comes with two separate cabinets that are shipped separately. If you only receive one at first don't worry, the second one is likely on the way. We had on cabinet delivered to us about a week before the second cabinet came in. At first we wondered if we had been scammed but after contacting the seller through amazon we found it came in two separate packages. If you're in the same situation just hang tight and don't worry, it will be worth it. This safe has a TouchPad on the cabinet used to store long guns. It has all the space you would need for storing a novel gun collection. The two cabinets can also be attached together, making them way sturdier. All in all, great quality for the price.
