Pretty nice for occasional use
This is a very nice looking set of bearing presses and attachments to work on your bike hubs.My only concern are with the softness of aluminum (of which these are constructed) and the very fine thread that is used (and may require a lot of torque)…will they last? I don’t know yet, but for the time being they seem to be a very nice set to have around.I tear apart my hubs maybe every other season for basic maintenance, and these will most certainly make it easier assuming I don’t encounter an issue with the above mentioned concerns.

Functional, but not wonderful
I was in a bind and had just a couple of days to service a last minute issue with a freehub before a big cycling trip. Amazon came to the rescue! In the end, I was able to get the thing serviced with this kit, but it definitely involved a few cuts on my fingers. I don’t have one of the freehubs listed (FSA, in my case), and finding a collection of adapters across the entire kit that would both (a) fit my bearing size and (b) keep the bearing straight while being pressed in required a bit of creativity and a large amount of patience. There were no instructions included with the kit.Durability-wise, I agree with others that the thinness of the threaded rod doesn’t seem like it will last, but it does seem like a common size that will be easily sourced if needed. Also, a couple of the adapters seemed like they were ever so slightly bent after use. The aluminum is pretty thin walled. In the end, did it work? Yep. The kit totally saved me. Will I likely use this for servicing hubs in the future? Probably not. Based on my experience to date, I don’t have confidence that I’ll be able to reassemble a hub after I’ve got any bearings out. I still have my eye on an Enduro kit that will likely be much more durable and (hopefully) easier to use. Those kits are 2-3x the price though. In the meantime, I’ll keep this around for emergencies. You may have a better experience if you have one of the hubs listed.

Nice cheap alternative to the PT HBP-1
This is cheap in the sense that it's about 25% the cost of a good shop kit covering the same body of work. I'd say you're getting more than you're paying for with a lot of good anodized parts of decent quality. At least there's nothing plastic here. I checked all parts, and found no burs, serious deformations, or poor tolerances.I will say that I like how they stored all parts in cutouts, so you definitely know if something is missing. Just make sure you don't end up with any doubles by mistake... Which would be bad, because then you're missing some compatibility. I was confused at first by the guide removal shafts, 2 pair which had been mixed up in their pairings (Xd with xd-3sb for example). Odd, but happily I have a full kit.I did notice some surface damage here and there, like the parts had been dropped after the anodizing process. Nothing serious, but you wouldn't find QC rejects in an expensive kit. I added a picture showing some dings, and nylon spacer scratches, almost like I'd gotten a used handle.A lot of little complaints aside, this is a pretty comprehensive kit that does cover a LOT of hub and freewheel types. Most home mechanics won't need even half of this. I'm looking forward to servicing some wheels this summer, which I've been putting off for a few years... Without a kit like this, I had to get creative working on wheel hubs, which I always dreaded.

Don't expect the finish to last
"This review is for Premium Bike Hub Bearing Press & Removal Tool Kit - Compatible with DT Swiss EXP, DT350, XD, NOVATEC - MTB & Road Bicycle Repair ToolsPremium Bike Hub Bearing Press & Removal Tool Kit - Compatible with DT Swiss EXP, DT350, XD, NOVATEC - MTB & Road Bicycle Repair ToolsKit just arrived today. The finish is already scratched in some places, so I don't expect the finish to last very long at all. They've been able to work on one of our bike bearings ok thus far. Only time will tell how long the kit holds out.NOTE: As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I receive this product without paying for it directly; however, I have to claim the full value of this product on my taxes as this counts as a taxable gift and I must pay taxes for the taxable value of this item."

Great set for home shop
This is a really good set for any bike home mechanic. Maybe not for heavy use in a bike shop but great for the occasional bearing work of a home mechanic.

ok tool, good fittings, cheap thread rod and really cheap dtswiss tools.
The quality of the aluminium fittings is really good and well finish. The thread rod is flimsy and cheap, the DT swiss lockring tool supplied with the kit are really cheap, they broke in the first use!
