The milling on this is really tight to spec. It didn’t want to tap into place so I froze it and it popped into place with a little encouragement. At least I know it’s tight! We’ll see about durability over the next few hundred rounds.

Easy to install and very durable

Perfect fit, bought two and the second one was so tight it took a minute to mount it with a special tool.

I purchased this item for my Glock 19 Gen 3 Non-MOS RMSc footprint mount to use with a Crimson Trace CT RAD which has a shield RMS footprint. Supposedly the two are supposed to be compatible (as shown in the picture for this mount). When I tried to mount the optic to the plate, I realized that the left mounting screw hole on this item did not have threads. So in all, it didn't work because of a manufacturer defect.

Does work well. Very well made an durable, Holds zero well. And puts together pretty easily with a nice fit and look.However. It does make the red dot sit high. So something to consider. But much cheaper than having a slide cut

I was happy with the attention to detail in packaging and the overall appearance of quality.I had to do a slight bit of filing on the dovetail’s anodizing for it to fit nice and tight on my Glock’s slide with just a little light tapping. I did not mind the extra work to get the fitment just right. It makes for a much more secure mount.The problem was after everything was centered perfectly and the set screw was locktighted in place, when I was mounting the RDS to the mount, one of the screws would not start into the mount’s threads because of either too much anodizing or poor machining.So the whole thing had to be uninstalled and the I had to run a tap through the threads.From the amount of shavings, I have to conclude that it was poor machining. Not a deal breaker for me. Sh”t happens and you can’t inspect every single piece that gets manufactured at the price point these mounts are sold for. But, I did want to let anyone that does not have a minimum of mechanical skills to know that they may or may not encounter difficulties and need a hand with installation.Obviously, I can not comment on durability until I run through a couple of qualification sessions with it, and honestly this was only purchased by me to try and see if I wanted to go through the process of milling a slide or two on my pistols and use a RDS permanently.
