Fantastic carpet, cheaper than carpet shop
This is a lovely carpet. Durable, yet soft and has a lovely beige hue to it. We saw this in our local carpet shop and were considering getting it, but it was cheaper on Amazon. Would highly recommend. We fitted it ourselves with a standard underlay. It’s a decent thickness, very good value for money and isn’t showing any wear after a couple or months or constant use by every man and his dog.

Lovely carpet, awful seller
I purchased this for my hallway initially, as I planned to do one area of my flat at a time. It was lovely, just like the photo, so I decided I'd use it and order for my front room. Again, no problem so went ahead and ordered it for my bedroom. OMG! They sent me a carpet which looks exactly the same. I laid it and kept looking at it thinking it didn't look right. I had offcuts left from each area and compared them. This piece of carpet was the same colour, but was shorter in pile. Instead of the lovely 11mm carpet, they'd sent ne an 8mm carpet. So, i complained and they said it was my fault as I'd not noticed before I'd laid it. They refused an exchange as I'd cut it. When both carpets were tge same colour and design, how many people are going to notice if the pile length is different prior to laying it, especially given that it's rolled up tight and unfluffs as it's laid?? After several messages back and forth, where their best offer was to keep it and they'd give me 20% back (the carpet they'd sent me was cheaper anyway and that 20% was the difference in price), I got Amazon involved and sought advice from Trading Standards via Citizens Advice. I kept all their messages and forwarded those. Amazon, as they usually are, were excellent, they authorised a return and a refund for me. I explained I had no way of rolling the carpet ip to send it back, because the tube had been collected by the refuse comoany and my car couldn't have carried a 4m x 3m roll anyway. I was advised to fold it and had to take it to a sorting centre. I did so and then received a response from this company saying they would only give me a percentage back as it was damaged by being folded. I explained what Amazon had told me to do and could see i was getting nowhere, so, again spoke with Amazon, who resolved it. They had said at this point they wouldn't sell to me again, but I found a way around that by getting somebody else to order for me.I redecorate and help a number of elderly neighbours. I've completely recarpeted and redecorated for 2 previously and am in the process of helping 2 more. They would have made a number of sales from me, but not now. I wouldn't shop with them under any circumstances, ever again. If you order a carpet with a specified pile, don't expect them to send what you ordered, I have no idea if they deliberately sent me a lesser quality carpet, if it was incompetency or a genuine mistake. (Had they acknowledged their mistake initially and apologised, I actually would have kept the carpet for a neighbour, as it would have fitted one of her smaller rooms!) I would strongly suggest you fluff a corner of the carpet up and measure the pile, don't assume that it's the same colour so it's the correct carpet. I say thus primarily to stop you wasting your time laying, removing it, returning it and relaying the correct one when it arrives. This, without a shadow of doubt, has been one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered in retail!!
