This shake is a cinnamon apple oatmeal shake, and the maca powder as a wonderful toasted nut flavor. This is a really good deal on really good organic maca powder. I keep some in a small container for daily use and then store the large container.I just discovered maca also comes in a black version, as well as a red. The black one is supposed to be four or more times as nutritious with a more pungent flavor, so I decided to do a taste test with the black version. It’s a tiny bit stronger in flavor, and a tiny bit darker in color, but I don’t think you’d notice it in a recipe. Both arrived in just 2 days, and both are outstanding!

We put this in our homemade hot chocolate mix.
