This makes my 5th BPS knife purchase and I'm just as pleased with this as the rest!Arrived factory sharp and well oiled to prevent corrosion, has a great feel in hand and the scales are nice and grippy. Nice sturdy blade, just thick and long enough to mean business and has well placed gimping for a thumb and a sharpening choilThe sheath is sturdy, the knife locks in place nice and solid, the belt clip is great and the only thing I might (maybe) change is to use some blueing on the shiny bits on the sheath.Definitely a recommended knife from me!

Just a beautiful well crafted knife, I would have paid for the sheath what I paid for the knife and sheath. Buy one, you won't regret it.

We have several BPS knives. They all get used a lot. They’re all very durable and hold an edge. This wasn’t purchased for any tactical use. It was purchased for practical use. I wanted a solidly built heavy bladed knife for various outdoor tasks that I could keep outside year round and not worry about their leather sheath wood handle models so the Kydex sheath and micarta handle checked all boxes. I could’ve easily found a cheaper one but I’m a fan of BPS’ quality and like the fact that they’re a relatively small business. The belt clip on the sheath is really secure and customizable for different carry options but I removed it (easily done) to reduce bulk and weight and rigged it with a cord dangler. Knife stays securely in sheath and is easy to draw with a flick of the thumb. It’s an excellent heavy all-purpose knife that I’ll have and use for a long time. BPS makes quality gear. This D2 is no exception.

The package arrived very quickly and everything seemed in order.The knife is a perfect size, just under 4 inches and love the D2 steel! Drop point shape. It isn't very sharp as delivered but that is fixable. The micarta scales are WONDERFUL!The sheath is ok, multipleways to attach it to your belt and adapt to the width. I'm scrounging for one of my old BPS leather sheaths to use with it instead possibly.
