DEENBLOCKS™ Sultan Ahmet Camii Blue Mosque | Build and Learn Educational Building Blocks Toy

Really beautiful and intriguing design of Sultan Ahmet Mosque in Istanbul, Turkiye 🇹🇷. One of the iconic architecture of Turkiye also known as the Blue Mosque.This Lego type architecture took me 2 days to build as it has 947 blocks. It comes with a photo guide but mostly the booklet is about history of the grand Mosque. It requires patience and concentration to put it together but once completed, it becomes a centre piece of your display cupboard.I have uploaded photos and I have to admit photos are not doing a justice. In reality it looks elegant and sophisticated piece of art. 5 stars 🌟.

This set of building blocks comes from Takva, the Islamic store. Many of the products here are catered towards muslims and those interested in learning more about the religion. This line of building block toys are based around Islamic buildings from around the Muslim world. This one is based upon Sultan Ahmet Camii’s Blue Mosque in Istanbul.The set is made by Deenblocks, which is clearly a cheap LEGO copy. This is where my first concern comes in. LEGO is such a well-made and established product, I can’t see how cheaper competitors can really carve a niche out in the market. LEGO really is the go-to for most people and anything else feels like exactly what it is - A cheap copy. LEGO really have set the bar and it’s practically impossible to match them. No ther brands that I have come across really compete. The same goes for this Deenblocks set.Into the box and the bricks are packed into separate, clear plastic bags. The bags don’t seem to be specifically marked with numbers or letters though. This makes it hard to identify which bricks are in which bags,, meaning you’re going to have to root through all of the bags in order to find the bricks you need. A massive oversight. I quite liked that the instructions do, though, provide a bit of a historical and factual background to the actual building.Yes, it fills a very prticular niche. If you’re looking for a mosque building block set, then this might be one of the only companies that make one. I suspect that you will struggle to find a LEGO version. In that sense, this might well be exactly what you’re looking for.

As a lover of building toys, I was excited to try out this colorful building block set. The intricate design and educational value surpassed my expectations, offering hours of immersive fun and learning. While some blocks were a bit challenging to fit together, the overall building experience was rewarding. The final structure is impressive, making it a standout piece in my collection. However, the price may be a tad high for some buyers compared to similar sets. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this set to anyone seeking an engaging building project.
