Good flashlight
As a home inspector I require a bright flashlight and with the variable light settings this is a nice tool to use. Charges quickly and if you use the light settings properly you will be set for the entire days' work. I will caution you the side button can be engaged while driving down the road if you are not paying attention. I found it is best to remove the holder while driving to prevent the light from turning on accidently. After 25 years of inspecting, I found a flashlight I like!

Agreeing with the FIVE Star Reviews!
So, normally my flashlight brand has been Fenix and, while I love a great tactical light, it seems their prices are getting pretty steep, and, frankly, I have not been a huge fan of the growing complications for operation of their lights, where it seems it takes a lot of fiddling with the controls, which seems they are doing more of, instead of less of, as new models come out.Given that the 1000 Lumen Fenix starts at over seventy dollars, and, given the straight forward operation of this light and its strong output of 1100 Lumens (my thanks to the reviewers here on Amazon, and also on YouTube who put up great video reviews!) this seemed a brand worth trying, at just under fifty bucks. While my concern always is value for money, because I know cheaper flashlights can be total junk, this light had such terrific reviews that it did not seem that paying less here would deliver less. That was my only point of hesitation, oddly enough, at first, was the smaller price tag, but I just couldn't find negative feedback of any sort to say this was not a top grade light. So, I ordered it, and, upon receiving it, needless to say I am really glad I decided to buy it, because it is every bit as great as the higher priced Fenix brand, and frankly I think it is a superior, just in smoothness and ease of operation, not to mention it puts out a hundred more Lumens. The build quality is outstanding on this light -- super sturdy, rough and tough, and ready for any adventure, whether it's a simple power outage at home, or serious field use. Every aspect of the build inspires confidence, and I loved it so much that I have since bought another ThruNite, which is equally phenomenal.I always appreciate when a brand can showcase the fact that top quality doesn't need to cost a fortune, highlighting that we often are paying more for a known brand, not because we really "get more for paying more" but rather we're just paying extra for a name. Clearly, there is a threshold of quality for cost, of course, and a light this good isn't going to be had for ten or twenty dollars, but it's just nice to be able to spend a bit less here, and not lose out, at all, in excellence of craftsmanship.I went with the Cool White, because it is brighter, plain and simple. I don't have much concern for "real" colors of what I am illuminating, I just want bright illumination for when I want it, and, seeing comparisons online, and even according to ThruNite, the Cool White is the "brighter" looking model, compared to the Neutral White.Size is perfect, weight is perfect, and it fits perfectly in the hand. I opted for the 18650 battery (which I bought separately, in a bundle with a charger), despite ThruNite saying it gives the same output of two CR123A's, because reviews have said the 18650 is just a better all around power source for these high powered lights. The strength of the light is truly impressive, and I appreciate also how they have staged the brightness levels -- on some brands, lower settings can sometimes be too low and higher settings are unnecessarily high in output, but ThruNite has a terrific balance here, and, in saving on battery power, settings other than the brightest still get the job done for most situations, and, obviously, the highest setting lights up the world, when needed. There is just no drawback to this light, and no points of compromise have been made. It is every inch the same, or superior, to any light costing far more money, so don't feel at all that this is a "lesser" light, because it's not. It actually exceeds higher priced brands in some aspects, and matches them in any other, so you're actually paying less to get more, which is a rare and wonderful thing!I'm exceptionally pleased with this buy, and, as I said, I already have bought another (the ThruNite that runs on 4 AA's, putting out 1150 Lumens -- it makes daylight, basically, if put in a room, which I recently needed during a power outage, when I had work to finish at my office) so this will be a brand I'm sticking with, and I'm saying farewell to Fenix, since ThruNite is putting out equal to even better quality, at lower prices. As others have said, this is just a tremendous deal for a light of this quality, and I couldn't be more pleased. Definitely a "best buy" item here that does not disappointment, and, more so, even exceeds expectation in performance.Highly recommend! Thanks for reading, and I hope this has been helpful.

Good flashlight, but not for tactical use.
This is a great flashlight, but not for tactical use for a few design reasons:- The distance between the end of the clip and the head of the light is exactly wrong for MOLLE, so it can't easily clip in one handed (it runs into a MOLLE loop)- The button near the front is very easy to accidentally press, turning it from maximum intensity to minimum, which is pretty alarming when done at the wrong moment- The charge port cover is far to easy to pull open when manipulating the lightIf you're never going to use this light in tactical situations, it's really great.

Impressive light output for such a small flashlight
Tons of light in a small casing. It’s easy to change between the different light settings. The booster gives you the brightest beam I had seen so far, though be aware that the head will get hot. Recharging is easy with the USB-C port. The sleeve and the clip allow for a variety of attaching it to your gear.

Reliable and Bright
I’ve had the ThruNite TN12 V6 flashlight for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become my go-to for just about everything. First off, this thing is BRIGHT. I mean, it lights up my entire backyard like it’s daylight. The different brightness levels are super handy, too—low mode is perfect for small tasks without blinding myself, while turbo mode is like carrying a portable spotlight. The build quality is solid. It feels sturdy in hand but isn’t too heavy to carry in a pocket or clip to a bag. The included clip and lanyard are nice touches, making it easy to grab when I need it. Battery life is impressive as well. I’ve used it on and off for a week before needing a recharge, and the USB charging makes it super convenient. If I had to nitpick, the tail switch takes a little getting used to, but now that I’ve got the hang of it, it’s actually pretty intuitive. Overall, this flashlight is an awesome value for the price. Whether you need it for work, camping, or just keeping around the house, I’d highly recommend it.
