Just lovely
Loveeeee it, very nice flavor when I make my matcha. Make sure you whisk it correctly to avoid it being bitter and not creamy. Have fun!

Quality Matcha - My Daily Go-To
My sister and I had a chance to visit Uji last year. We attended some traditional tea ceremonies and tasted various exquisite matcha. That trip definitely set a high bar! So, I was genuinely pleased to find this HAYASHIYA Fuji matcha available here – it really hits the mark for authentic quality. First off, the color is that vibrant, deep green you look for in a good first-harvest ceremonial grade. It's a super fine powder and whisks up beautifully smooth. Taste-wise, it strikes a wonderful balance. It's got that lovely smoothness, a noticeable savory umami depth, and a natural sweetness that lingers just right. Honestly, it reminds me strongly of the high-quality bowls I enjoyed in Uji. It's now my go-to morning cup at the office – literally the first thing I make when I get in (yes, I keep a proper whisk (chasen) and matcha bowl there).

Good matcha
Nice green color. Kind of nutty flavor with bitterness but still good.

The color is so vibrant!
This is one of the better matches on Amazon. It is on the pricer end but worth it. I enjoyed it!

Do not recommend - oxidized, not fresh
Arrived super oxidized and grey-green in color. Thought maybe it was a trick of the light and tried whisking it to see if it would improve. Nope; the koicha was dull, dark green. I’m pretty experienced with homemade matcha and have tried both good and bad matcha. This is definitely not good. Won’t be buying this product again.

Not Great
I really wanted to like this, but it's the worst ceremonial grade matcha I've ever bought. It's bland and lacks flavor, aside from bitter and almost dry afternotes. This is my first time purchasing from this brand, so I'm unsure if the issue is the matcha's quality or the storage quality between different warehouses.I've heard good things about this brand, so I'd be open to purchasing from their actual website. But I certainly wouldn't purchase it here again. I would return my matcha if I could.EDIT: Bumped up to 3 stars b/c the seller was kind enough to refund me
