Unexpected Upgrade: A Game-Changer for My Hair Routine!
First ImpressionsThe dryer arrived safely packed in a sturdy box and was wrapped in protective covering to keep it safe from scratches. It feels solid and has a bit of weight to it, but not enough to make it uncomfortable to hold for long periods. There are three settings: heat, alternating heat & cool, and cool. I’m not sure I’ll use the alternating heat/cool feature (since it pulses between hot and cool air automatically), but I love the cool setting for setting curls and waves during blowouts. There are also three speed options to adjust the airflow. I didn’t even need to read the manual—it’s super intuitive and easy to use.PerformanceFor my first time using it, I stuck with my usual routine to compare it to my old dryer. I started with slightly damp hair, used clips to separate sections, and did a volume blowout with my round boar bristle brush. As someone with weaker hands, I had no trouble at all with this dryer—the handle is long but narrow, making it easy to grip. While I wouldn’t say it dried my hair any faster, the overall experience was much more comfortable because this dryer is so ergonomically designed.ResultsI’m definitely a fan! My usually coarse, frizzy hair turned out gorgeous—there’s more shine and bounce than I’ve ever had with my old dryer. I can definitely understand why people are willing to splurge on these. My hair is softer, smoother, shinier, and bouncier than ever—it actually looks better than a salon blowout!

Best hair dryer...
I have upgraded to a professional-grade hair dryer, and the results have been excellent. The multiple heat settings protect my long hair, enabling a complete drying time of under five minutes. The premium, self-wrapping cord is exceptionally convenient. My styling time has been significantly reduced without compromising hair health. This salon-quality purchase has revolutionized my hair care routine and is a worthwhile investment.

Great
This hair dryer does a wonderful job drying my hair. It is so quiet. What makes it better is the price. My only issue would be my hand hitting the temp button but I just had to learn how to hold it.

Gets the job done
The sliding power button also changes the three speed changes for the dryer. I like this type of button because it’s nearly impossible to accidentally change speed or turn off while maneuvering during the dry process.Unfortunately, the heat setting is a push button which cycles through the different heat settings as it is pushed. I’ve already accidentally pushed it while drying. Fortunately, it’s on the back of the arm and high enough up that I should be able to train myself to hold the dryer in a way to avoid the button. I do wish it had been a slider button like the speed button. I also wish the highest heat setting was a little hotter. I find the lower the speed setting, the cooler the heat temperature regardless of the heat setting. The weight was heavier than I expected for a dryer of this size but not overly so. It’s got a nice solid feel to it.It comes with a focus nozzle that is magnetically attached, a nice feature that most of the newer dryers are adopting. It does not include a diffuser, which it should at this price point. If you have curly hair you may find the lowest air speed provides too much airflow to dry without frizzing. The noise level was okay. It’s not particularly quiet but doesn’t have the high pitched whine of older dryers.I haven’t had the dryer long enough to comment on longevity/reliability but overall it’s a good solid hair dryer for the price. Had it included a slider type heat button and a diffuser, I would have ranked it solid 5 stars based on my use so far.

If I can use this hairdryer successfully, anyone can! No frizzing!
As someone who is totally inept at using any haircare appliances I feared that this hairdryer would go the way of all the other dryers/curling irons/straighteners/etc that I've purchased--tried once then relegated to the back of a cupboard! I basically never dry my fairly long hair because it always causes frizzing--even when my beautician uses her $$$$ Dyson! But this VivaEase hair dryer is so very different! No frizzing! I found the heat and temp settings so easy to use in different combinations--and believe me when I say that if I can successfully use this hairdryer anyone can! And it dries so fast! I guess that it doesn't give me time to mess up!My hair is soft, non-frizzy--and no more going out in the cold weather in the mornings with wet hair and hoping that it'll will dry before I get to work (or catch cold!).I definitely made the correct decision in this purchase--I can't believe that it was so inexpensive yet so user-friendly! Oh, and due to the fairly light weight and the speed my arm doesn't get tired! This is definitely a winner--this might be my go-to Christmas present this year for all my family and friends! They'd love it!

Just okay, wouldn't purchase again
I have really tried to like this hair dryer but every time I use it I wish I had my old one back. I don't like the heat and cool option, and the highest heat takes quite a while to dry my thick hair. The buttons are inconveniently placed and I'm finally used to it enough that I'm not constantly switching it off or accidentally changing the heat seatings. So I'm now on the hunt for a replacement...

Not for me
I needed a lightweight hairdryer, with a price tag under $75, to get me through a recent bout of frozen shoulder. This was definitely lightweight😁, so five stars for that. Here are the cons:-Poorly placed heat setting button - you will inevitably and unintentionally change the heat setting [multiple times] while using this dryer. Very annoying.-My normally soft locks turned into a frizzy, unmanageable mess with this product. Nothing else changed about my routine.I’m happy I had a lightweight dryer to get me through a tough spot, but even happier when I could go back to using my normal T3 dryer.
