Good quality cap gun
It's a good cap gun but pity that there weren't a few caps included.

Gun is hefty and satisfying!
The gun is really hefty, has a great weight, and makes a very satisfying click. (I have very sensitive hearing, so haven't bought caps for use with it, but it seems they'd work well.)Pros:1. Definitely die cast, which is nice. ITs very heavy and for the price, I'm pretty pleased. If you've got a kid that's not super duper young, and is kind of looking for something a little bit less childlike, it really fits the bill.2. Made in Spain. I don't care to stigmtise entire countries or anything but there's a slightly less high chance that this was manufactured in inhumane conditions, which is nice.3. The embossing is actually really nice looking! it's a really good looking gun.4. You can click open the barrel and then with enough force, sort of flip the gun shut again, which is super duper satisfying. Seriously, the gun is seriously satisfying to shoot, so much so I've been using it under my daughter's nose in hte mirror, doing a real grim Clint Eastwood in the mirror.Cons:1. It's not the finest cast ever (I can see some issues where the mold didn't fill up on the spinning barrel)2. Re: the cast of the barrel, this means that sometimes after 8 shots the barrel sort of gets stuck and doesn't turn to restart properly. This isn't actually an issue if you're only firing the 8 caps that you'd be able to fit in, though. For me this resolved after multiple uses - who knows why??3. The handle is plastic. Not really a big deal to me - I wasn't exactly expecting Hardwood for the price - but it's worth knowing, it lacks the weight that would help to counterbalance the heavy bulk of the gun.4. Doesn't come with caps! Again with the quality + price, not exactly a big deal, but considering its a capgun its worth knowing.

Great toy, reminds me of being a kid - saving for further fancy dress outings
The toy metal cowboy cap gun is a nostalgic throwback to classic Western play, designed to resemble an authentic old-time revolver. The sturdy metal construction gives it a realistic weight, making it feel more genuine than typical plastic alternatives. The design captures intricate details, from the textured grip to the iconic revolving chamber, making it a standout piece for imaginative play.

Over a barrell
Unfortunately fell to the floor and immediately shattered... Looks the part but quite flimsy

I am a grown man - not a child - with a very particular use for this...
Every summer I am disturbed by Jackdaws sitting above my bedroom window and cawing from as early as 4am. Thankfully this is only a seasonal thing, but towards the end of the summer they start to get more brazen and ignore my tapping on the window. I needed something that would make a sharp and sudden noise to disperse the murder*. Thus, this children's toy seemed like a perfect solution. I am pleased to say, it is... The cap gun works perfectly, sending the local wildlife into a scatter. So far, there have been no complaints from my neighbours. As for it's functionality as a toy, I'd assume most kids will like it because it looks great. Functionally, it works as you'd expect. The gun has survived one summer without any defects.10/10, would traumatise the local wildlife again.*Yes, a group of crows really is called a murder!

Broken already
The media could not be loaded. Barely been played with and no longer fires without falling apart, much to the disappointment of my little boy. Such a shame as it seemed a good buy at first.

Good for price
Actually a lot sturdier than I expected, you can pull the orange barrel plug with pliers for a more realistic look too and it makes the bang a bit louder. Fair bit of weight too
