WW/Victorian Fire Grate and Ash Pan for 16" Fireplace Opening

The media could not be loaded. Works well and helps with heating, is very sturdy and quite heavy. Not a bad price considering.

I had a gap in my fireplace and used to have a vase of flowers there, bot have replaced with the fire grate and now I can put a scented candle on it and it looks lovely. Very sturdy and good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

An absolutely perfect fit for my fireplace with dimensions very accurate. A lovely piece which I’m using to burn logs to keep my heating costs down. I’ve seen negative reviews by people burning coal on these grates, just don’t! Burn wood, stay warm and enjoy the beautiful flames.

The ash tray is very poor quality after only a couple of weeks a hole appeared not fit for purpose

The grate is sturdy, well designed and a good fit. It wasn't worth paying quite a bit more for the ash pan, doesn't hold a lot and the handle didn't fit on mine

I ordered this for my open fire. Initially the product seemed to hold up well but after a few uses the ashpan got a hole in it and the grate/basket has become warped. I have been burning coal and by all accounts the item should be able to withstand this but given how the product has reduced in just under a month I would say that it will not make it until next Winter. If you're looking for something in the interim, this is fine but I don't believe it's a terribly durable product if being used for coal burning open fires.

Slotted perfectly into the space provided. This is a repeat order; the last one lasted three winters before needing replacement. The pan is an added bonus and saves a lot of time.Well worth the money.
