Perfect. Highly recommend.
The media could not be loaded. Really nice large capacity and stylish. Look so good. First I confused to buy because of reviews and look another tower bin that one 60ltr and out of stock everywhere. But I want 75 ltr and look like that one (60ltr one) and I find this one but reviews not good so am confused 2 week I wait for that 60ltr one to come back stock then I decide my first thing is I want big one like 75 ltr so I decide okay lets order this one if not good or defective then I return and order 60 ltr one. Let’s see and I ordered and I really happy with this. I made really good decision really. It’s perfect and work so well. Nice n clean look so good and no smell in my kitchen am so happy io I take the chance. If I don’t take the risk and order 60ltr one I know I feel not so happy because I look ing big bin not 60 ltr one. So yeah am so happy with this. And I write this review after one and half maybe 2 month lter becouse I want to make sure it’s working well or not. Because I see so many negative reviews. But this bin is so good. Highly recommend. I am very fussy to choose things. So if I am happy with this means it’s good.

Pricey but looks great, good size.
This bin replaces a bog standard metal pedal bin which I purchased online that lasted 3 months before going rusty and disgusting on the inside.Although it is very pricey for a bin, I wanted one that looked metal on the outside to match my kitchen and plastic on the inside so it prevented rust. This bin (I got the titanium grey one) is very attractive (in as much as a bin can be described as attractive!.It is a very good size and should prevent frequent trips to empty it. There is a plastic retaining ring inside which holds the bin liner so that it is not visible from the outside, which always bothers me about some bins. Some of the pictures from other customers show that they have the top of their bin liner hanging over the edge of the bin, which is really not necessary with this bin because you can tuck it down between the retaining ring and the inside of the bin. Doing it this way looks so much neater from the outside. The senor is great, no too sensitive but very responsive. The lids shuts itself after a few seconds, it does make a kind of whirring noise as it closes but it's quite quiet. The titanium grey colour is lovely, it is not a shiny colour, more of a brushed matte steel colour. The only thing (so far, I just unpacked it!) that I can see wrong with this bin is that the TOWER logo has been stuck on off centre and a bit lop-sided, but it's not too bad.So far I am happy. You will need 4 x AA batteries to operate the sensor lid. You can also turn off the sensor if you wish to use it as a manual bin. There is a little plastic cage on the inside of the lid in which to fit a bin freshener if desired.EDITED DOWN TO 1 STAR! - lasted 8 months and then gave up the ghost. Sensor mechanism no longer opens or closes the lid even with fresh batteries. A very expensive piece of junk. Also rusting and flaking on the inside. Difficult to clean. So its back to the drawing board to find a bin that actually delivers on its promises.

Oscar would not be grouchy
Bought my neice a bin because she needed one for her 1st home.she loved my copper bin I had bought so because everything in her kitchen was black this bin made the best choice. Takes 4 AA batteries, didn't come with batteries so remember to buy aswell, I'd of thought for the price they'd of chucked in a set of batteries but nothing at all.Ive replaced the Alkaline batteries with Lithium ones and it runs far better and longer. Well made, inside there's a bin bag holder to hold the bag from dropping into the bin when it starts to fill up..

Good hands free bin with a minor design flaw
Generally very good, but a couple of things to note. First, there is a lip around the inside edge of the metal bin that the head lid unit sits on, so when you are removing the bin bag for disposal, stuff inside the bag can get caught and rip the bin bag. Second, if the bin is in a high traffic area, battery life can be relatively short. Otherwise, it works very well and is a fantastic size for a 5 person family kitchen.

Not worth the money.
So my other half and I needed a larger bin as we live in a big block of flats with not enough bins for all residents despite numerous emails and complaints to the council, so a bin with a larger capacity meaning fewer attempts at trying to find a bin with room was key in my decision making for an indoor bin. This unfortunately is the only real plus. We have a decent sized kitchen, but only one place to fit a bin as every other wall has cupboards, unfortunately this means the bin is constantly opening and closing when you don’t want it to. Another drawback to that is the bin takes a few seconds after it closes before it will open again, so if you accidentally open it on your way to pick up something you want to throw away, you have to wait for it to finish its cycle(?) before it will open again. The most annoying feature though is it only opens for 5 seconds, meaning times when you are scrapping stuff off plates and pots, you have no where near enough time to get everything in, coupled with the issue from before, this is horrible! And there is no setting or way to change the stay open time other than getting creative to both hold the lid up and hold and scrape the plate/pot. It is a nice, large sturdy bin, but the “feature” makes it a no go for most.

Tower kitchen bin with sensor 75L
I bought this bin to use for recycling. We were using a large supermarket carry bag but our dogs decided to have a look in the bag once too often. I did not want a round bin as it has to stand against the wall just outside the kitchen and this bin fits perfectly. There is a sensor in the lid, which is operated by AA batteries and which opens when something moves in front of the sensor. I have turned this off as it opens when we walk past to open the back door, scared the life out of me when I let the dogs out the first night we had the bin. The bin is very smart looking, black with a silver top and lid and is so much better than the bag we used before. The only downside is that it is very expensive, but as they say you get what you pay for. We use a bag in the bin which we empty into the wheelie bin outside and put the bag back again. I would recommend this bin.
