The media could not be loaded. I needed a traditional looking round clock I set for an antique ceramic chinoiserie click I found. It was priced next to nothing because the clock was broken beyond repair. I bought it and found this one on Amazon. I was at first worried as the price was so good…I thought it must look cheap in person. But I wanted gold trim and Roman numerals - and the size was much more important. It HAD to be 80 mm and this one was. I noted that this one comes with a removable rubber band that can make it slightly bigger if needed and alsoMake it fit snugly. It also can be removed if it’s a bit too large. So happy I chose this with the rubber band. Without it , it would have been loose and not a perfect flush fit like it is. (See video) . The gold trim on the face of the clock looks like we’ll done filigree. Great quality for the price. Really impressed

I replaced the clock mechanism in a decorative clock frame we have had for decades. I hated to discard the clock housing and found the Hicarer clock insert. The result is the clock face and bezel look better than the original.

I bought this to replace a clock in a wooden clock. It works well, but was a little difficult to get it to fit correctly. It was just a little tight, and I had to modify the external elastic band that came with it, but eventually got it to fit into the wooden clock frame ok. It's a good alternative to buying a whole now clock, and it looks nice.

This inexpensive little clock looks great and keeps good time. It's the perfect size, and the rubber ring gives it a good grip; the clock doesn't move or fall when the pedestal is moved, yet it slides out with little effort when the battery needs changing. Measure your project "hole" carefully before you pick your clock; the product measurements in the description are accurate!I also appreciated finding a clock of this size/price available in several different "looks." I was able to select the perfect one for a whimsical little pedestal clock that I bought at a thrift store, so now I have a cute, unique clock in the guestroom for about $15 ($3.99 for the base + $9.99 for this replacement clock).On the downside, my first purchase of this clock did not work when it arrived; however, the exchange process was very easy, and the shipping time on the original and the replacement was so fast that I still had a working clock in about 11 days. I have started to use Hicarer clocks exclusively in my projects after having disappointing results from other brands. First the bad. These clocks use a rubber gasket to fit the hole instead of being made for a flush fit. I find that with the proper Forstner bit they fit too tight. I simply cut the outer fins on the gasket half way down and the fit is perfect. The good is these clocks work well for a long time. The last thing I want it someone buying a clock from me to have a noisy, inaccurate clock insert become the thing people remember.
