Hare Krishna Book of Vegetarian Cooking Hardcover – Illustrated, 8 Oct. 2008

This book is well presented with a wealth of tasty photos and recipes, very good opening section with information on Vedic style cooking and philosophy. Highly recommended for Hare Krishna friends and lovers of cooking and vegetarianism. I already have this book but bought this copy for a friend as he requested it on the strength of my recommendation of it. Delivered on time and in good condition.

I have only tried one recipe from this book so far and it was delicious. All the other recipes look tempting and I cannot wait to try them. The recipe for fresh , garam masala looks great and I will be trying it soon; much nicer to have a freshly made mixture than the usual bought ones which are probably months, if not years, old

I've been using this book for years and lent it to someone. It was easier to get another copy from Amazon than ask for it back. (The lender uses it all the time so I said they could keep it!) The recipes are very simple but taste wonderful. I reccomend this book to everyone who cares about and respects all the living creatures on this planet.Shirley

I had borrowed a copy from a friend but wanted my own one as I love all the recipes and wanted to really learn a few by heart.It has a great introduction which clearly explains the reasons to choose a vegetarian diet and the ingredients are all easy to find.

I wanted this book to try out more recipies of the Hare Krsna's delicious foodstuffs. It did not let me down at all. good pictures, explanations etc. have tried a few now and has turned out really lovely. Almost of temple quality. Having the smaller recipie book 'the higher taste' I wanted more variety and visuals which this book provides. The cost is also very good compared to the newer temple cook books. Plenty to keep you going for a long time. Hare Krsna !

Great book and a must have for any vegetarian.Some amazing recipes if you like Indian food I can highly recommend this book.

Super book. I’ve tried about 10 of the recipes so far and they’ve all been easy, quick and absolute delicious.So glad I bought it. Totally recommended.

Bought for my mum = loves the recipes and is quite a good read about the concept of the cooking and the reasoning behind it.The recipes are easy to follow and in the end make good food!
