The unit has a nice, quality, metallic feel that makes me think it will last for a long time. It went up easily, allowing me to mount the M9 high up on the wall, which gives me a great signal compared to sitting on a shelf. Definitely recommend.

Solid construction and easy to install. It's not as snug as some other holders, so router can still be rotated while in there (up until the wiring gets in the way). Comes with screws and pegs.Just a note though: Depending on signal needs, you may find that having the router/pods horizontal rather than vertical will give you a better signal spread.

These are well-constructed metal wall mounts for TP-Link Deco M9 routers, which mount securely via two screws (included) to the wall and are easily able to carry the weight of the Deco units. The Deco units fit well within the mount with just the right amount of wiggle room for adjustments. I don't believe they negatively impact the wi-fi signal in my experience. Overall sturdy wall mounts that get the job done.One potential improvement recommendation from my end would be to put some grippy rubber strip on the inside of the three holding prongs so that the Deco unit can't spin around freely and also doesn't get scratched by the metal prongs.Hopefully, the review is helpful to our Amazon community.

Used this to install a M9 plus on a ceiling. Even though it’s not a snug fit, it does the job. Make sure it’s not installed in a location where it may get bumped

The product is well made and serves it's purpose. A lot of comments that it is loose or not snug, IMO, that is a plus not a negative 1. it allows more airflow to cool 2. If the product is mounted high it is easier to remove in and out of the mount. There is no way the product is slipping out of the mount.

After reading somewhere that the Deco 9 WiFi bases are designed to be placed horizontally because of the directed WiFi antenas, I tried to find a good horizontal device shelf but could not - all are designed for devices with smaller diameter. Finally I gave up and bough this product. The mounts themselves are a good quality (metal) though the Deco stations do not fit snugly because of their weird shape. As suggested by the pictures, I installed one of these on a wall. I have my home NAS hidden in the garage connected to it through an Ethernet cable, thus the station serves as a WiFi bridge and extender. When the Deco station was vertical on the wall, I was getting 5 MB/s movie download speed to my computer. Placing the station horizontally and no other variables changed, I am getting 20 MB/s download. So, clearly it is true that the station should be placed horizontally and the pictures of this product suggesting to install them on the wall are deceptive. I do not think the mount will work well on a ceiling because they hold the Deco station from 3 sides only. In any case, I will be returning these mounts and buying a regular plastic shelf.

These require drilling holes or strong doublesided tape. The node doesnt fit very snug and falls out quite easily if not seated just right. I got these discounted from Amazon Warehouse so Im fine with them and will keep. However, I would've been a bit peeved had I paid full retail.
